I've seen a lot of people completely rip this phone apart by saying it's trash without even using it and looking at the dated chip, I had this phone to test out for a week and to me it performed well for a budget user, it's sole intention is to be used as a budget and it ticks all the boxes in that category, I didn't get frustrated with it once and the battery is insanely good.
Is very annoying phone, it hangs, it doesn't have much features and some are unnecessary complicated, and most of all the volume is too low, so low that even if you turn to highest is still low. I regretted buying it.
The downside of this is that there are missing built in apps. Mine doesn't have a gallery app and notes app. And the Buttons are all on one side which is I hate cos it's difficult to screenshot. The camera is very mid level. It's storage is just 64GB (!!)some apps isn't available to download here. I regret getting this from my aunt who gifted this😢. Don't be deceived truly
Helio G36 is basically a refresh of the P35. They are build on the same core architecture and both have the same PowerVR GPU, just with a tiny difference in clock speed. The reason why the app show P35 because their data base wasn't updated to include the new SoC, so they just show the P35 because there are basically the same thing
This also happens if you have a phone with Snapdragon 680 and tried to see the hardware info using CPU-Z. They will show you that your phone have a 665 SoC rather than 680 😂😂 (Because the core architecture are the same on both SoC)
Now i really want you to review the Nothing phone you've been playing on the phone, great to have another person who i can watch review devices apart from Mrwhosetheboss and Mkbhd❤️❤️❤️
I just got mine. Thanks for letting me know about the gaming aspect. I would like to know if I could customize my homepage. Like changing the launcher and stuff. I would not want to let the phone lag once I do some customization
Can you use banking apps on the phone and now a silly question... android go how does the up dates if any work or dont you get any...thanks for the review 👍
I bought this phone on the 29th June. So this is barely two months with it but to be honest I am not so impressed with it. It lags, may be cos I'm a fast user but I used a Redmi 7 that I bought 5yrs ago and it works fine. Incase anyone is waiting to ask if I upth the ram ? Yes I did to 4gig and sometimes the operating system just go on some executive rest..... I'll do good to another as soon as possible however camera's are quite decent especially if you take pictures in the sun. The audio of rhia phone is poor! My Redmi 7 of 5 yrs ago has a better output than this disappointment! The pre installed apps are just so basic, Notes didn't come pre installed with this model. Storage is impressive 128gigs. Aside that what else? Battery life is good but charging speed is horrible. I usually plug and sleep off 😮😮 My honest opinion. Forgive me 😭
Not worth the price , I can't imagine my self paying 116k for a p35 or G36 android go phone, with just a 10 watts charging speed with poor camera 116k for such a garbage I rather pick up the itel s23 , p55 or even a good second hand phone for that price
Your complaint isn't valid because you're not comparing the fact that it is only 78 dollars. The main issue is our naira has lot value that's why it seems expensive
Whhat you Will do is to hold your power button beside the phone and also hold the volume button down at the same time You will screenshot every image you have Thanks 👍
No one really uses their phone for 24 hours straight. For most people it’s somewhere between 6-8 hours in a day. So we can say the phone lasted for a day but the person actually used the phone for 8 hours in that day
It's bad. I knew it the moment I went through the specs page on GSMArena when it first appeared. If you want something either look for an old flagship or increase your budget
0:47 Knock it and see. If it makes a deep knocking sound it's glass. If it makes a slightly hollow knocking sound it's plastic. 1:58 The Redmi A2+ had a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor, but the regular Redmi A2 had no fingerprint sensor at all. Otherwise, they were identical phones. 3:02 Or they want to lower the price of the phone by preloading a ton of junk onto the phone, most Xiaomi budget-tier devices have bucketloads of preinstalled garbage. 3:36 And the $500 Note 13 Pro+ STILL uses Android 13. 3:55 The official Xiaomi website says the Helio G36 (I just double-checked). 4:16 If you get the 6GB RAM model, just get a more powerful phone. 5:32 The auxiliary is 0.08MP, not 0.8MP. 5:58 I thought initially the measly 8MP resolution would be a recipe for disaster but considering what mid-rangers manage to squeeze out of ultrawide cameras with the same resolution, this is not too surprising to see, although I imagine the ISP is SUPER barebones. 7:47 Just get the iTel P55 instead.
I broke my iphone 8 and I just bought Redmi a3 as my temporary phone. I'm fine with it. Not a gamer, just more on browsing fb, watching yt, call and text. So it's okay for me
I once had a Redmi 9A at this price range and I hated it becuz it was lagging on Clash of Clans, CLASH OF CLANS. So yeah really wanna see what this phone has to offer!
I am from the Phillipines, I bought it only at 3,479 pesos only during the 5.5 sale in our famous Lazada online shopping app through their Xiaomi official Global store but the original price of 6+128gb I ordered was 3,999 pesos only, it was indeed a phone budget friendly and good for it's price especially the camera, good enough compare to other phone with the same price. Xiaomi brand didn't dissapoint, We're xiaomi users btw.
I was really impressed when I got my Redmi 9 3 years ago. It has got 8 sensors, some you normally only get on higher end devices. It's a really nice handset, still running well after 3 years so I would definitely go for this phone if you want to save yourself a couple hundred quid.
sir how to fix Instagram and Facebook videos are laggy. It's like all the videos don't match the frame rate, the audio is fine, but the video lags everytime. I've tried the performance mode and cleaning the cache but none of that worked, how can I fix this ?
I bought this phone a month ago it's the best phone, image quality the best I mean don't expect the phone to beautify you when you are naturally ugly.this phone is perfect 10over 10
I have the phone now for 3 weeks for me the deal breaker is android go otherwise the phone works well,I bought it as a stop gab phone cause my other phone broke down
I think you did an objective review of this phone, alot of people have come out to give negative review of the phone but like you rightly said, its just a budget phone and shouldn't be used beyond its limits. The manufacturers definitely have other upgrades for anyone who isn't okay with its performance and specs.
Just a quick question, i think you mentioned this in the video but, did you get the helio p35 with 4gb ram on the phone or did u review the 3gb variant ?
Subscribing. Like the fact that you're giving details while showing the phone. Because i wsd mostly interested in seeing the phone but your explaining made it even better. Also, do i see Capitec App on your phone? I thought it was only in S.A.
Glad you showed 3:49 the device info. Sadly its not a 64 bit OS. There is no arm64-8a and armeabi-v7a is only 32 Bit hence Asphalt 9 wont run on this OS because its a 32 bit. Strange why they do this. They have a direct competitor to this which is the Vivo Y02T which is more cheaper in my country.
It's a matter of choice. The environment generates dust and dirt all the time. It's better you take notice and clean up the mess than it being concealed
when you do the more ram more rom. try using storage instead of ROM for the audience who aren't tech savvy and should put some SFX during those blinking it'll help.
GSMARENA have often lately got chipsets wrong on lower end handsets this is mainly down to lazy researching probably down to lack of interest in the lower sector.
Garbage phone, no idea why they even released it, utterly pointless, you can get a much better phone for this price like the Oscal/Blackview latest phones with G99 cpu, 120hz , higher resolution, more memory, NFC...or you can go with a Poco C65 which have better specs.
I go through phones very often as I'm VERY clumsy , so a "good enough" entry level phones that are affordable are good enough for me. If it runs messager apps I use , watches YT, plays my podcast app and plays 2 games that I install on every phone, then it's good enough
this phone isnt worth getting unless its purely for calls and they made poor choices on the phone key points that make it pointless to get: why make a screen 90hz when its just 720p? why create a premium looking camera setup when its just going to be using a bad 8MP camera as the main Android 14 hasnt yet had its go edition released so its going to be laggy asf on this phone because of the chipset, you're better getting a mid range phone
@@AzureRT456 I have done so, and have been given a new one, but still experiencing the same problems. Kinda like the fault of this phone. It ain't that good.
I think they trying to revive back the popular Mi A1, A2 and A3 series back then. This Mi A series actually running google pixel OS-like called Android One ( co developed by Google with Xiaomi ) Really popular back then because no bloatware. I dont know why they killed it, But this ofcourse before the emergence of Poco lines.
