Since this is a collaboration video, beebom is not criticising Redmi for not having Android 13 out of the box, which would have blacklisted them. Also, previous OS compared to Realme means one less OS Update compared to realme.
Redmi could have released this phone with Android 13, but they chose to only provide two major updates, so the phone will only be updated to Android 14. Upon closer examination, it appears that Redmi is only providing one major update.
accordingly the regular pro which is rumoured to price under ₹20k and the pro+ is expected under ₹25k (subject to change stay tuned on thursday january 5th)
@@Breadrc nothing bro. I'm typing this comment from the same. Using it since 2018, still going strong. Only a few dents via accidental dropping. Performance wise, everything I need is being satisfied. Obviously the camera is now outdated compared to what's in the market, but still good enough. Overall best value for money phone.
If it comes around 25k and goes under 25k in discount and card offers then I'm going to buy it. Apart from this I really like the realme UI but features wise redmi is still the king in budget. I mean all the UI perform very well but redmi is still lacking in the software department. So if they fixes that then this could be the dream phone for me. 🌞

You can always sideload the stock dialer app, i have a realme 9 Pro Plus and it had a Google dialler, i simply installed the realme stock dialer and disabled the google dialer

Redmi Note 12 Pro should've had Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 processor. The rest is fine. I was waiting to buy it, but I don't trust MediaTek processors. Redmi Note 12 has Snapdragon 4 Gen 1, but it misses out on stereo speakers, which I want. It's very difficult to get a well-rounded phone in the mid-range market now. Redmi Note 10 Pro was the last best choice in that segment. Also, the brands have deliberately shifted the mid-range category from ₹13-18K to ₹20-25K while omitting some features. You only get the base model for ₹15K now, instead of the 'Pro' model.
Disappointed about the front camera and UFS 2.2 other then it’s okay 👍 not too much upgradation and also Every year Android &MiUi updates are tooooo delayed so sad about that

if you have to pick one from Note 12 pro+ and Nothing phone 1, what would you select? Covering all the aspects (Excluding the price) such as UI, Camera, Battery, Performance and everything! In short, what will be the wise choise?
Nothing phone 1 in a blink of an eye if it had 5000mah battery N 1 is better in every aspect except in battery department with less SOT nd slow charging speed
If price wasn't a factor then everyone would just go for flagship phones so price is always a factor on choosing phones while considering the price to performance ratio.
if we are getting android 12 in jan 2023 then definetly it's a major drawback of this phone, so basically this phone will get only 1 major android update, and all of us know about MIUI legendary updates 💀💀
But it probably won't replace the note 10 pro since it uses a dimensity chip... which might contribute to a lack of custom ROM support which I definitely wouldn't like.

I own Xiaomi 11i 5G best phone for Me. I will buy My next phone in 2024. Why Redmi Note 12+ pro doesn't have micro SD card support, Why no memory card support? Many years ago removable battery was stopped. Now memory card support is being stopped. I would prefer a dedicated Memory card slot!!! I like external memory support instead of internal storage. How are you going to breeze past the fact that it still has MiUi 13 based on Android 12. Its a completely new phone it should come with the latest software as well. It should be a deal breaker for people who use phones for more than 2 years.

I hate that realme still provides plastic back for 25k 10pro plus. Note- but downside of xiaomi is I have a 28k MI 11x g they have completely ruined the phone's camera
People keep dancing for software update and at the end they 😭 facing bugs . Why man you guys don't like stability in life , I'll rather choose Android 9 phone over Android 12 if it's serving me good with performance and ram management. MR. BEEBOM, why didn't you focus on the second model that has the IMX766 sensor? Quite a lot of models touted as "budget camera kings" like the Nothing 1, OnePlus 10R, Nord2T etc. use this sensor. The Xiaomi is just north of 20k while these others hovered around/were north of 30k. Now only if Xiaomi decided to put an IMX766 sensor in the K50i and price it around 29-31k...
I reckon side-mounted fingerprint scanners are better than in-screen fingerprint scanners. Those were introduced in 2018, around 4½ years ago, and have BARELY improved, if at all. At this point they're just a way to justify a high price.
