I must be honest, this phone is a very big Joke 😂😂😂 And also Nigeria's economy takes the price far away 😂😂😂 This phone no suppose pass 75k when Nigeria still dey alive 😂
Before you update to android 14, you experience maybe 30 watt charging and some minor draining, but when you update like I did, everything flies. Battery is better and everything is better
This phone just feels like a scam, it's the 5g version that should be sold at that price, i got poco x6 pro offer's 5g, flagship performance, premium display, ufs 4.0 at the same price
I beg to differ, It does not outrightly beat the 10 pro. And Xiaomi fell off after the 10 Pro. The G99U is just a G99, period. It's just the same oled, same 120hz, only software updates is the only plus
How is it possible that Redmi note 8 pro camera has 4k30fps but Redmi note 13 pro camera doesn't have 4k videos, how does this make any sense. I've both phones and that's the only con in the note 13 pro, having 4k or 8k at best
No icon animations, no background blur in the notification centre. Omo I don't think I'll be buying another Redmi device ever, it's either a mi series or galaxy or Huawei the Redmi phones' watered down version of Xiaomi's software is disappointing 😒
Same here... They did us dirty by offering only the 4G versions of their note series in Nigeria for a while now and I thought they'd do different with the Note 13 series but they just added the Pro + that was too expensive thanks to the exchange rate... I'll be going to a Xiaomi device next from this...
The background blur is a feature you can toggle on and off in the settings. Also, non-mainstream models like Note 12s (which IS available in Nigeria by the way) has the icon animations when unlocked; it may also be a feature that can be toggled on and off, especially in a model like this that's more expensive than the Note 12s. The HyperOS update should be hitting the Note 13 series anytime soon seeing as the 12 has gotten it already, alongside Android 14. Their phones are trying but the Helio G99U in this is really underpowered considering its price. The base Note 12 4g offers COD at higher graphics settings than this.
@@calebokon9673 Okay, man you're rich o to be able to buy either of these phones in Nigeria 😅. Anyway, the main advantages of the Redmi note 13 pro over the Samsung are: a) slightly better benchmark scores and possibly a bit better performance too b) Bigger battery at 5100 mAh (Samsung's is 4300) c) Newer software (up to Android 14 compared to Android 12 on Samsung) d) 5G If these are forgivable by you or don't matter that much to you, definitely go with the Samsung all day. You'll be getting better 4k capable cameras, front and rear, best fingerprint sensor type in the market, better OS and User Interface, flagship level build and feel (water resistance 😏) and the performance will be flagship level optimisation. That means you're less likely to see any stutters or choppiness in animations even during heavy use of the phone compared to the Redmi. Also, if you already have a new good phone (as in not like a Tecno pop 5 or something from years ago) and you're now looking for a second phone, then just go with the Samsung. Otherwise you can review my take I've just given above and see which one you'll be happier with as a daily or main phone. Hope this helps. More grease. 👍💪
@izziboye I use the 10pro till date because it was way ahead of any competition then, brought new features and performance you'd pay a lot for. Xiaomi knew this and nerfed it with the 11 series, we expected the SD778 and OIS but it never came. Apart from charging speed which 67watts is more than enough, Redmi phones have not changed one bit, let's see what the 14 will hold sha, coz Poco F5 pro is looking mighty good right now
it triggers me that a phone with such a price doesnt have smooth animation of app opening/closing enabled and smooth anims in general, leaving this comment as a RN13 pro user myself
Please can you help with how to improve my network on my 2 months old redmi note 13 pro+, they network is very slow and annoying, even 4 phones are faster , please help is really frustrating me. Thanks
One thing that annoys me a lot is not having smooth animations when opening and closing apps, and it is something most budget devices available in Nigeria don't have; the hot, spark, redmi note, etc.
Here in the UK we have the same specs of the 4G model (Helio G99 Ultra, etc.). But if i ask you..which one would you go for in terms of camera quality overall...the 4G version with the newer Samsung HM6 sensor or the 5G version which has an older Samsung HP3 sensor? Love to hear your thoughts. Cheers.
i didnt expect newer phones to not have 5g versions... but i guess it makes sense... why would companies make 5g phones for countries that does not have 5g widespread yet?
The phone looks good but the pricing is crazy, here in Kenya it's more pricier than Xiaomi 12lite, Galaxy a34 and a54 Redmi note 12pro nothing phone 1 and many other better phones just slightly below the Poco f5 and the mighty x6pro now I wonder what's going on at Xiaomi?
Really nice Video. I got this phone as an upgrade from the legendary Redmi Note 10 Pro. I did a video on my RU-vid channel. Might be testing it out with my iPhone 13 camera. 😅
It's not. You asked me to recommend based on your budget. You won't even find Redmi Note 13 for 200K. With 240K you might find it. On Jumia you can find the Galaxy A15 for 230K
@@johnmc3862 sir is that what you are using? And if not, would you like to buy this from me? I will gladly sell to you for 320k and forfeit how much i am loosing on it. So send me your number if you are interested.
@@emmanuella1651 As far as I am concerned about the old models and other brands that are using the same engine and processor , and the fact that today everybody is using their front cameras to create contents; so it's all about competition and with such amount of money invested in it, one should be able to squeeze out the value for your money. In a nut shell, today's purposes is all about the cameras (the front camera especially) the engine, and the battery. All other things are added advantages. That's where the competition is. I would rather keep my old Redmi than upgrading it. Plus the next 13series to it is about 150k more expensive than it. Why naaaa
