If you see the speed test of Asus and note 5 pro, Asus don't kill the apps in background and has a better ram management whereas note 5 pro and other phones kill the apps in the background which lets them save more battery but since Asus has 5k mah battery, it still wins in the end.. I hope this clears to everyone who had doubts about having asus battery life

indranil chaudhuri they optimised the software through updates. It was disappointing initially, not any more. But in my opinion, it's still a bit disappointing as a 25% larger battery should mean significantly better battery life, and what Asus is offering is nowhere near what it claimed during launch.

they say the problem is a software issue since the problem started when there's an update. i haven't seen a latest feedback that is saying it's fixed. i like asus and i m not sure if this phone is worth it since i've been reading a lot of bad review

The detailed and best battery drain test I have seen till now. I have started using Zenfone max pro m1 from last couple of days and I watch youtube videos mostly, like for about 3-4 hours a day, surfing facebook, insta and whatsapp most of the time and some shopping apps. Earlier I was using Redmi Note 5. Asus' device has impressed me a lot.

RN5PRO has MIUI and 4kmAh battery. ZENFONE MAX PRO has 5kmAh battery and almost stock android. Overall,ASUS SHOULD HAVE SHOWED GREAT PERFORMANCE BUT REDMI WAS FAR BETTER. THE THING IS ASUS OS IS NOT POWER EFFICIENT AS MUCH AS MIUI OS.

Am facing Battery draining issue & Also the 18:9 Display not Made Properly The Display Rounded Corners Manufacture Made in Hurry so some of the asus zenfone max pro m1 Rounded Corners Are Like Triangular Corners & Cheap Build Quality As My Prioritys are Build Quality & Display & Battery Backup I am not recommended to buy it Also am facing issue with Return & REPLACEMENT..So Think Thrice Before Buying

Play the same video, say a 10 hr video on RU-vid connected to the same Wifi. That would produce a more consistent result. Playing different videos on Instagram skews the result.
