People dont realise how much of a pro feature these are and removing these profits the company by shoving ephemeral products like tws or paying the company more for storage which i can have and transport easily. This is one of the reason i love your reviews and always recommend and share your reviews to my mates and family
But he is being picky as only mentioning the 3.5mm and Sd card into the con list for this smartphone, but doesn't put as cons for other smartphone of almost similar price tag and higher price tag. I can only agree if those cons are being put on every smartphone that don't has these features.
Still using the Poco F5 as my second phone (for outdoor activities), main phone is the Xiaomi 14, and I love the headphone jack on the F5, no need to upgrade for me with this. Thx Chris for the vid!!

@@Techtablets OK, I would pay more but then the "flagship models" take away the SDCARD, it is so frustrating. Why less features for more money, makes no sense to me.
6:14 you did it again, the first to put out the performance of the 8sGen3. 3D perf slightly better than the Poco X6 Pro which has a score of 2000+. If this is going to be the F6 then price going to be a lot higher than this Redmi which is opposite historically. Poco's prices became out of whack as the brand became popular and people did not notice the price inflation. Poco should also have bypass charging by now. Consider asking for review samples of Tecno/Infinix phones, I think they will be the next Poco and could be good for your channel.
Tnx for reviewing the phone before the Poco F6 comes out. I have a question tho. Some say Samsungs have faster UI and btr displays (color and clarity wise) despite being inferior on paper. Is that rly the case? (For instance this phone vs the S23FE). Ty again
cameras look so goofy, why so big when the lens only occupies like 20% of the area. the whole back of the phone looks cheap unfortunately. The design of the poco line has gone downhill since F2 pro, with each version looking cheaper and uglier than the last.
i always hate these nit picking peoples, the phone is literally offering a 12bit Dolby Vision certified bezel-less display and bro is more interested in back more then the front which we will use everytime
though I know it's a gaming focus line up, but that camera footage dancing on it own rymth is ridiculous, lol. It's just too bad that no one ever wanna use it =)))

Giztop mentions the below in the listing description on their website: This phone is a Chinese edition, comes with full Google Mobile Service and Google Play store installed, and OTA updating supported. Are the OTA updates automatic and are there any major limitations using the device Globally since it a 'Chinese' version? If I purchase one, what will I be giving up?
Pretty impressive midranger. specially if it (f6) ends up being sub 400 Euros in Europe. Basically poco x6 pro but with Qualcomm chipset and different cameras. Interesting one
I think it's worth spending an extra 40-50 euro to get a redmi k70, Oneplus Ace 3 or Iqoo 9. This type of phone is in a kind of category where you get a lot more for a little more money. At least if you want a better main camera then then those phones for 40-50 more will give that as well as generally better specs. A solid phone nevertheless

I think those midrange phones with excellent hardware and dubious camera sensors are a mistake, we're way past that time where you needed a flagship to game comfortably, any midranger will game fine these days. But a midranger taking worse photos/videos than some budget phones? That must be a hard sale!
it's not camera hardware but software. my X3 pro has close-slightly inferior camera hardware compared this one but it is sufficient for me, and I'm a long time hobby photographer. This Redmi is also Turbo branding which means minimal camera hardware for powerful chipset for the same price of other Redmi models.
@@zodiacfml you are literally saying what xiaomi says lol. The cameras on this are scraps leftout from 4 years ago. Basically everything is from 4 years ago. If you buy this phone it's like you are having 2020 level of phone quality in your hands. Imagine paying the full price of a new 2024 BMW that is just faster than the 2020 model with the same exact options! Why would you buy that when you can buy a 2020 model with good enough performance for 1/5th of the price? It's because of people like you and me believing in big companies and buying these scraps that xiaomi literally improve nothing in these poco lineups.
@@f.iph7291 it's alright to use old parts, even Samsung or Apple does this on their flagships. The problem is the price or people continue pay despite higher prices. Poco was the affordable brand years ago. If this going to be the Poco F6, then Poco branding has become more expensive than Redmi branding
The poco f5 had b20 and the poco f6 should have it. Also its always worth testing Gcam on cheap phone as they usually result in a nice pump in image quality on cheap phone.
@@Techtablets not that i recommend doing it but installing a global rom on many redmi phones usually unlocks additional bands like b20. its mostly a software lock only that was the case with note12 turbo when installing global poco f5 rom.
Pretty big con of the lack of 3.5mm audiojack and sdcard support. A really big turn off for me. I think I'll be looking at some other brand for an upgrade.
Hello. With the Poco F6 I'm more interested if the nonstop focus hunting when recording a video (using the main camera) is still present or has been improved since? Are colours on the main and selfie camera show natural, true to life colours the way you see in real life? Is there still skin smoothing on the selfie camera? And are the front & rear cameras HDR been improved as well? I have the OnePlus 10T and not sure if I'll trade in or not.
Also imported my xiaomi 14 from china and they debloat it a lot, even calculator, clock, screen recorder are missing 😂 able to install them back fortunately,

These kind of phones shouldn't cost more than 250€ in my opinion. That Ultra Wide camera is just nonsense as it is. Very poor. Weird they didn't add the usual 2MP macro junk 😂 I used to recommend a Redmi phones to friends, at around 200€, but now you're forced to spend 100€+ more. Thanks for the review, Chris!

your review is quite informative, however you lacked the most important thing that was you did not test the notification and some google services such as: google meet, and google duo, because when chinese phone usually misses a lot notifications and some google service is not stable on the phone, it will have a profound impact on user.
Woah, the Front Cam Video looks so much better than my Poco F5 Pro. But the same issue with the focus exposure pulsing thing. Why does that happen with a lot of Poco? That's the same issue with my Poco X3 NFC as well. And I can hear the lenses moving in my recorded videos 💀😂
I was actually thought, following the trend from Poco F5 (Redmi Note 12 Turbo), that it should have had the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 3. 8sGen3 falls behind its GPU which could be a let down to some which uses their phone for GPU intensive tasks like photo editing and rendering...
That might be finally be a worthy successor for my Redmi K20 Pro. Unfortnately still punchhole camera but the rest looks very promising. Can we still unlock the bootloader on HyperOS?
I don't think so, xiaomi did say they will be getting strict about the bootloader stuff Xiaomi: You can unlock the bootloader if You have not yet unlocked three Xiaomi devices with your account (only three devices can be unlocked in a year with one user account) 2024

iQoo Neo 9 price has lowered now. And the price almost the same as Redmi Turbo 3. Only $50 different. iQoo Neo 9 has Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 while Redmi Turbo 3 has the newest Snapdragon 8s Gen 3. I don't know which one should I get 😅
Poco x6 pro has been ok after 3 weeks. The battery is poor. i wished i waited. Poco F6 pro would be worth the extra £100. Oh well, power banks are a thing.

Hello Sir, do you have any phone you wanna recommend for me? My budget is 200~300$ My priorities are the display and camera. 1. Display: AMOLED 120hz and I prefer if the phone has higher resolution than FHD. 2. Main Camera with OIS, Ultra wide and good video quality, if video support OIS that would be awesome and anything on top is a bonus.
Im currently using an iqoo neo8 china rom and there is 50/50 chance that a call or message from apps like facebook messenger would not get notifications, i have another phone (global) and i signed in my account on both and half the time i would get a call from both of them (giving me option to choose which one to use to pick it up) but the other half the call would only go to the global one. So i wonder if this issue is limited to the os (origin) or in china rom in general? Would china rom redmi suffer from it as well? They use use the same os (hyper os), so perhaps not?
So what does this 8sgen3 chip compare to? It's like 8gen2, 8+1, 8g1 or midrange? Motorola should release their edge50ultra I think with this chip too and that wooden one peaks my curiosity too much 😂. If it comes out as poco f6 my guess is we are probably looking at 500/600€ price. Think you'll get that moto ultra? Great vid as per usual. 👑
8s gen 3 has lower cpu cache, slightly weaker gpu. But has superior Bluetooth 5.4 and stronger ai capabilities along with newer cores compared to 8 gen 2.
To be honest. I believe since the focus group for the F series are value performance seekers, personally I´ve liked to see a single good quality camera rather than one ok and a second meh one. Other than that, for the price I think that´s the most they can make for the phone along with expandable storage. I´m still an F3 user, and will upgrade this time but competition is now fierce with new brands entering the market.
@@cutecats746 I bought they F6. The upgrade it's worth it (I don't use it for gaming so i don't care about The overheating issues). But, if you have money to spend, i would recomend the Xiaomi 14 or galaxy s24 (snapdragon versión).
I'm sorry but xiaomi needs to refresh everything... especially their software and photo processing algorithm.... I've been using Xiaomi from 2013 - till now....

Screen specs are almost always lied about by the Chinese. They know 99.9% of people don’t have the equipment to measure color accuracy and brightness, so they just lie. Even a lot of “reviewers” unfortunately just take their word for it. So many of those mobile monitors are marketed with amazing color accuracy and brightness and contrast! But anybody two eyes can see it’s a bunch of hogwash.
You dont need fancy lumen meters to measure displays brightness. You can do it with app and another phone that has light sensor/camera. Sure the results may not be as accurate, but it gives you a general idea about the peak brightness
