The Annual North vs South mud bog event held at Dennis Anderson Muddy Motorsports park in North Carolina is always action packed. One of our favorite events to watch is the Redneck Tough Truck Racing. 2017 brought out a slew of stock Jeeps and trucks ready to huck the jumps of the mega truck course. I did a race similar to this in Looking Glass Oregon many years ago, went 3 rounds before I blew out the front suspension on a mid 90s chevy s10, man what a good time it was. Best day ever.

I’m wanting to build a ranger for races like these 302 swap,8.8 axels,etc What does it take to enter, win and how much cash can you make off races like this and also is it uncommon for dirt track races for trucks to occur as I know figure 8 stock cars are common but is it any different for trucks (thought I’d ask here as it seems like the place some people who’ve done it would be and could help get me more informed before I get balls deep in it and get myself into a pickle with a race truck and no races)

the rules vary from place to place. Most of the vehicles are fairly stock with just safety mods

BustedKnuckleVideo well if you have a moment to read and respond, answer this: does everyone who is qualified supposed to run with everyone else as long as the vehicle runs? I saw a lot of what seemed "unfair" match ups. There are Honda civic SUVs running against V8s. Edit: I got the ole trusty rebuilt 22re 4 banger.
