At a very low point in my life this was the only song I could listen to. A few years ago my cousin committed suicide; for some days every sad song made me cry harder, every mad song made me mad, and every happy song made me *furious*....except this one. No idea what made this song different. It didn't make me stop crying, but I cried less. It didn't make me escape the situation, but it made it more bearable. Thank you Cotton Eyed Joe.
