Thank you for the memories of the pier! We first visited Redondo Beach pier in 1987 our first trip to California! We ate the best Clam Chowder at Tony's on the pier! We enjoy your videos!
We are going through all your old videos of cruising to Ensenada for our first ever cruise coming up on the Radiance. Lisa drinking Grandes and eating tacos in Ensenada is an all time favorite. Thanks for all the tips on cruising as this will be a new experience for us.
Omg! I can’t believe $61 for one 🦀crab! Granted it’s been awhile since I’ve been there. I prefer Tony’s! 😀 I also did the oyster 🦪 .. pearls got a black pearl! Very rare. Fun times!
I remember fishing on the old pier as a kid we use to go out to the floating barge to fish I remember the little snack shakes caught a lot of fish back then good memory’s for me .
You guys were brave to try that crab tamale (guts) I like seafood but the innards not so much! I just looked and your heading for 50 K subscribers! I’m so excited for you! And you deserve it! Love the channel ❤️
They crab tamale is the best part of the crabs, I would prefer the tamale instead of the legs myself…..the guts are very creamy and yummy😋. Then I’d go for the claws and that’s it. 😋😋
The rice with the crab inside is like the dessert after a nice meal. I think if Bill and Lisa tried it with the sesame oil they would’ve enjoyed it. That’s how we eat it at Redondo Beach Crab House.
Five tears ago we stayed at the Tapestry Hotel when we visited my sister in law. We had a great time exploring the pier. On the way to LAX we discovered Jus’ Poke. Keep up the great videos!
Love your content!!! I'm so happy I found you guys. I'm a new subscriber and I'm just tickled by these videos am binge watching as we speak!!! You go Lisa and get your own beer 🍺🍺🍺 girl!!!😊
Love tipsy Lisa!!! Your seafood excursions are some of my fav videos. The only tamale I eat is cooked in a corn husk with masa and pork in red chile. LOL Lemonade from Hot Dog on a Stick is the best!!!! You made a good investment with the oyster pearl.
Love seafood…and really miss having fresh fried clams! Lisa was so cute after her 2 beers and wanting a third, wondering how many you had with the spicy fish soup & the Dungeness crab? 🧐 Wondering because Lisa said espresso 3 times, as if we didn’t know what flavor gelato you got 😄. You had beautiful weather for some delicious food, congrats on that great pearl, and thanks for taking us along! 🦞🦪🦀🐟
Hey Bill & Lisa, another great video and food reviews! 🤗❤️ I actually have tried that Korean soup, and it's so refreshing and perfect for rainy, cold days. 🤤 It looked like Lisa was ready to party in the beginning. 🤣🤣 Have a great week!👍
Great vibe on this video today!😎Off the chart cuteness from you 2 today! From Bill’s Los Pollos Hermanos tee to Lisa’s lovely blouse & Bill’s “Oui?” quip to Lisa contemplating a third beer all for herself!🤣 Those delicious looking fried clams were definitely calling my name!😛 Lisa a definite “yes” to Hotdog on a Stick’s lemonade!👍🏼Bill this emoji is you after that spoonful of crab tamale…🤢…😂😂!
You had me at BEER😆. Wonderful & scenic. Nice food for a nice day. This all looks beautiful. We ate, at Andiamos at the D. It was awesome. I knew what to order, by the time I arrived. Thanks to your past video. 😻🎉👍
I love the crab tamale. Usually the better tamale comes from the female crab and it has the roe. The flavor that you tasted was from the water…the corners of the shell usually has a bitter taste, by the looks of it, the one you tried didn’t have any tamale on the shell, meaning it wasn’t meaty enough…next time remove the water part of it, but try tasting the tamale from the body of the crab, that’s where the flavor is 👍🏽 Dungeness crab are my favorite aside from blue crab 😍 I think they’re the sweetest, best to eat when in season.
Thanks for saying this….I thought it was way too watery to eat (I usually avoid digging into the corners too, but I didn’t realize that part tended to be bitter). The tamale closer to the body is the way to go…better consistency and flavor. I also eat it with some of the crab, haven’t tried it with rice yet.
oh fried clams....mmmmmmm....This Montana boy worked in Rhode Island and was introduced to the full potential of new england clams.....I can still taste those quahogs.....if you head to Montana reach out and it would be my pleasure to give you some recommendations, seriously
you two are the cutest!!! so happy you're enjoying life together ❤ loved the RB pier seafood review! Oriental Breeze is a great spot too. try the ceasar salad!
Hi, bill & lisa More beers that's the ways also smile all the way home with a full stomach." I been watching both of you guys for about four times.." I will go too this place soon.☺😉😍
You have to mix the sesame oil and gochujang with the rice and crab innards! That’s the Korean way to eat it and it hides the bitterness of the innards. Hopefully you’ll try it again one day
Love the shirt Bill! I love fried clams. Hard to find good ones in the Midwest. Looks like a great snack with that bucket. Lisa, I was laughing! I'm always the one who says "I don't want to share the last beer in the bucket" when the hubby and I are down to the last one!
Bills dad jokes are so much fun! And buzzed Lisa is the best. Love this video. I've walked by that restaurant not realizing they had such a yummy soup. Will need to find a seafood eating partner and go.
LOL!!! Lisa cracks me up!!! I hope I run into you guys on a cruise, VEGAS, or somewhere FUN because I would love to have drink with you guys! Smiles!!!
Hi Bill and Lisa! Shirley here! My uncles and my mom use to love to eat the gunk from the shell. I always found it gross. Some old coworkers of mine said in their culture (African American) the shell innards were referred to as the dead man. What a good name for it! So I agree with you, don’t eat the innards. Just attack the crab legs and knuckles. Though I do prefer prefer it the Chinese way, stir fried with lots of green onion and ginger. Yummy!
Hey Bill and Lisa, love the local video! Dungeness Crab from California is high in Domoic Acid can cause nausea, diarrhea and dizziness. You are right to avoid eating the innards at least here in Cali. Stay safe! 🤙🏽
Omg, you are right down the street from my mom’s house. When I visit, we always walk down to the pier for fresh seafood. I moved from the ocean to the desert. I now live in hell…Arizona.
Hell can be anywhere on this earth including the Ocean 🌊 which usually flood the houses 🏡 🏠 🏘 worth millions of dollars 💵 during bad storms!! Ukraine is in their own hell on earth 🌎!!
You both bring me so much pleasure. You are so real and sincere. A loving couple. I live in Marin County north of SF. Next time you are in SF, I would love to host a dinner. Keep on going. I am 58 and could not even try to travel like you. But that’s why we have you. Take care, Gretchen.
It's the sun and the beer you guys and maybe you're alittle tired and dehydrated from your trip back from New Mexico. Take it easy you guys..my children and I used to spend alot of fun times in that arcade. I just love our local pier.
Have you guys ever been to Cannon Beach, Oregon and dug for long necked claims when the tide comes in? Usually at an 'ouch' early time of the morning! At any rate, there is NOTHING better than clams you've just caught, fried for breakfast with slices of Haystack Sourdough bread on the side from the Cannon Beach bakery and a bottle of Oregon wine!
The innards of a live, freshly cooked crab wouldn't be bitter. Sorry for your bad experience. Loved the video. I live nearby too. Thanks and yes, the lemonade is refreshing! Please don't drink & drive!!
