Recieved mine today. Been playing with it and love it. Easily got used to it. The space bar only shows when charging (red=charging / green=fully charged).
Considering buying this over the wired one. Does this have any input delay? For gaming ? Also what do you prefer? True red dragon or the razer Tartarus pro? Thank you
got the noti late, rip, i love this channel so much, its so entertaining to watch with just the sheer quality and effort you put in. You must have so many keyboards lmao.
Got one and love it. It was on offer (like $25) and decided to give it a go and am pleasantly surprised. The space bar does feel a bit wierd at first but after a few hours its fine and quite comfy to game on. Downloaded the software and it works well. Can adjust lighting speeds, color and macro keys on there. No issues so far, at least with my wireless version. I got the one with blue switches which was the only option and.. yeah not a fan. Its way too loud, which was expected and a little bit on the mushy side. Ordered some silent red switches to swap out, that hopefully will work out for the better. For discounted price, well worth it for the game macros and extra desk space for more comfortable KB+M play and for smaller desks (like mine) its great. Not bad I'd say!
Nice vid, keep up the good work. Also Consumer Tech Review should I get the glorious Model O wireless or the glorious Model O wired? I wanna know from the best tech reviewer
Omg another k585!!! And blue switches my favourite! I’ve also just made up my mind of what my dream is, what it is.. TO SURPASS YOU! Cuz you’re like my idol now!
They really dropped the ball not making it bluetooth. The biggest value these things have is in portable gaming setups, and a lot of those rely on handhelds that don't have a dozen ports to hand dongles and crap out of lol
It's nice. But I wish they made one that's hot swappable too. I'm not a fan of the macros or huge spacebars either but I really appreciate the wireless though!
Nice video, too bad you didn't presented the software. With this kind of hadware, the software is extremely important : how easy is it to make profile, does profile start automaticly when a game/app start, etc.
Hey CTR love the videos could you maybe do a short review of the gamemax strike mechanical keyboard? Apparently it's the best budget mechanical keyboard
I have the wired k585 and purposely went for wired. I plan on doing the opposite. Since I primarily use my pc for gaming. I'll be having a regular wireless keyboard that I'll be taking on and off. I currently have a wired keyboard and they're both conveniently type-C.
Damnit, i saw this video one month after i bought the original k585, its a cool upgrade but for the moment i'm okay with my actual Diti, i'm enjoying it a lot.
@@youngcon1243 They're Mapped by default to f1 to f5, you can use the redragon software to map them to something else or record a macross with the integrated keys, i use them for ctrl+c, ctrl+v and ctrl+z.
...are the keys on the G2 to G5 hot-swappable too I can't seem to pull them out without breaking something... the other keys seems to comes out easily though...😅
Its funny, I bought this and reviewed it way back when and I only now had to replace it xD. I ended up getting the wired one again because i think the USB passthough is a huge pro for me.
@@elijnr no problem. Also if you do get wireless it's probably going to be fine, I am picky and loads of people are too but if you want wireless you should get it! I will say if my razer ultimate wireless mouse didn't break after 10 days I woudl probably be using it today as it was so quick!
i got one and i hated the space bar so i used the software and remaped the n/p key to space and glued a flat wood on their keycaps to simulate the space bar now its just like a regular keyboard and i use the old default space as enter idk why they thought the space would be nice so far from c/v/b
mostly the reason I am looking to get this is, I have small desk with limited space and there are time especially when I am using my wheel or streaming, it would be nice to not have to have my full keyboard in the way.
How do I use the wireless? When I plug in the usb and turn it on the space bar flashes blue once and I can see the device in my connected devices, but the keypad doesn't work.
Hey!! just to let you know that rexus make a new keyboard called "Rexus Legionare MX20 PRO" pleasee review it (if you want) bcz theres still not many youtuber review it
I am thinking of getting this to work along side a Huion tablet display. Do i have to turn off my other wireless keyboard when i want to use this keypad, or i just need to put aside the other keyboad?
I was setting up assignments for my G keys (pressing G2 to launch Call of Duty). This does not work wirelessly am I doing something wrong or can I only launch a programme when its wired. Id appreciate any help or suggestions. Thank you.
I have this keyboard but for some reason i cant change the rgb of the space bar its just red and when i take out the usb and go wireless the space bar rgb turns off. Anyone know why or a fix? and the G macro keys when keybind to something becomes green and cant chage those either.
Please if someon know how can i reset my redragon k585 tell me beacuse i have a problem that when i click for example T key all the keys starts spaming and it seems like i set a micro but i didn't
kinda irritating that you tell me what i need. their are many considerations when you decide cabled or wireless. my needs are different then yours and needing to recharge it is way more of a inconvenience then having a cable.
Calm down... you're NOT a used car salesman on the last day of the month... LMAO... 🤪... My wired K585 space bar is lit in 2022... could yours be defective?
