I think the rain is glorious. I live in Southern California, and as much as I love living near the beach I always enjoy the luxury of rain. The homes you visited today look so festive and inviting. The staging is simply beautiful. Redrow Homes are always very appealing. 🏆

I love how warm and cozy feeling this house is :) I live in the USA and this house inside at least doesn’t look that different from what you typically see in the US aside from the radiators and the doors separating the living room from the kitchen and such. Nice video. Also built in wardrobes or closets as we call them here in the states are not optional upgrades but in fact a necessity standard with every house.

I usually prefer older homes, but this Redrow village is like something out of a storybook. It's the kind of place I'd end up at during a surreal dream sequence. Its all so tasteful and festive. I wonder, what happens to this show home village after the new designs come in? Wouldn't it be cool if it became an actual village, with a cute little village shop and everything.

I know your question was not for me but thought I’d offer some info. Usually they employ an interior designer/design team who specialise in home staging and dressing. They are given a budget and source the items themselves from a variety of places. Being an amateur interior designer myself, on previous tours with redrow, I have recognised items from places including, Next, Habitat, dunelm, Sainsbury’s, and homesense. One of my in-laws works for one of these developers interior decorating companies and is the ‘shopper’ for the designer. Not sure if that applies to every developer though. Maybe the boys can find out how it works at redrow?

A house with a garage bump out, land locked with a brick pedestrian walkway really gives you a sense about how little the builders care. The Christmas decorations are nice but feel minimal and rushed which is not surprising for a show home.
