My only thought is they didn't want to burn their bullpen up, this early in the series. Other than that, I agree with you, they really pulled his pants down tonight.
@@davidjames5448in Marmol’s mind it’s better to throw a game by leaving in a starter that doesn’t have it, than tire out the bullpen. While I understand his thinking, the degree in which Marmol let Mikolas get smacked around was hard to watch and I felt pretty bad for Mikolas getting booed, considering it was Marmol’s decision at a certain point to simply leave Mikolas out there to get knocked around. I’d be curious what Marmol has to say after the game with regards to throwing this game away.
As a Cardinals fan... I agree. I'm glad the Reds have all that potential..... cause I want the Cardinals to "EARN IT" when making the playoffs. A boring division won't prepare them well enough.
Okay what's all this sign language when they get a lousy base hit they think they won the world series I'll never understand these players now like a bunch of little girls
It’s okay, the cardinals have to lose and have pitching blowouts everyone once in a while. It was a special day for the reds catcher, so they had to have some more miracles. Cards will be back in it for the rest of the season!
