Suzuki made an error but quickly showed he's a man who takes responsibility. With his recent pinch-hit home run, it looks like the clutch Suzuki is back.👏
I love Suzuki! My early feeds from MLB highlighted his grand slam. But it took so long for MLB to post the game highlights I thought that the Cubs found a way to loose. They are a much better team than there record! Their batting needs to match pitching for true success. Thanks Suzuki! You deserve it!
This was my first Cubs game ever, I’m proud to say. My girlfriend got us tickets and it was quite the experience! We even made the LED board on their Fan Cam, and shared a kiss together! It was her first time being on the board too after 30 games at Wrigley haha
Suzuki's error thar allowed 3 runs was the reminder of last year's "he dropped the ball" against Atlanta. Only this time he gained redemption with a game tying grand slam and the team coming out on top in the end.
Suzuki did an awesome job redeeming himself! This is an example of learning from your mistakes. And how we can learn to correct our mistakes and fix them! What An amazing job from Suzuki and the rest of the Chicago cubs! Now keep this going!!! For the rest of the season!!! GO CUBS GO!
Hunter Greene has been surprisingly consistent so far this season, That 3-2 fastball to Suzuki was the only mistake he made in this game. I watched almost every start of his this season. He has been able to limit hard contact by sacrificing some velocity.
this game showed he's come some way since the past couple years where he was giving away hits and his ERA skyrocketed. tough 1st couple innings, but as it dried up, 5th and 6th inning he was dominant, great way to instill mental confidence
I'm surprised they even got the game played last night. I went to bed thinking it would be postponed. Unfortunately I'm in the blackout range for both Cincinnati and Chicago baseball games. It was a rare chance and I missed watching it. Vox populi. Vox humbug.
Everyone saying Suzuki made the 3 run error and then hit a grand slam... No, it was even more perfect. It was FOUR run error... it was the 3rd out, so any run that comes in after that is his fault as well (especially since the 4th run was the very guy who hit the fly ball). That grand slam is the most epic thing I've seen, and now I want to fly all the way to Chicago just to go to a game at Wrigley.
Wow. Nobody felt worse about that routine fly dropped than Suzuki. But wait !! Nobody felt batter than him after that blast...head down, never give up. This division is winnable...GET ON A FREAKIN" ROLL, PLEASE !!!!
I don't think my Reds will make the playoffs this year and will finish .400+. They are losing far too many close games with a lack of clutch hitting. 😪
A match that started with Seiya Suzuki and ended with Seiya Suzuki. What an entertainer he is. But please stop making errors.I thought my heart would stop.
Crazy make million dollar arms go out there and pitch in a cold pouring down rain. I feel for cubies next time vs. Hunter Greene, won't be raining, so bad outfielders having trouble looking up into the rain drops.
This is disappointing pitching not reliable, hitting needs to improve.Losing to cubs unbelievable.Make a change Bell is inconsistent either way this team Fire him already winning season last season will end up having another losing season make the changes now!🎉🎉🎉
