Thank you Kelly. I am still trying to recover following 2 major abdominal surgeries last year. Your videos have given me great information & great help in exercising, stretching and reducing swelling. I have gained more benefit from your videos than in any of my in office visits with my doctors. They’re unsure why I still have pain and I’m worse off than I was before my surgeries; however, your videos have helped me to see small improvements and I cling to the hope that provides me. Thank you for all the time and effort you put into the topic overviews and especially in the exercise routines that you’ve shared.
I have a large midline incision from having an ovary/omentum/lymph nodes removed 6 weeks ago and I’ve been surprised by pubic swelling. I knew there was a chance I could have lower extremity swelling but I never imagined my pubic area would retain fluid and it has made me incredibly self conscious. I appreciate your videos on this topic and also scar massage, as I’ve developed adhesions as well
Thank you for bringing up this area. I had 9 pelvic nodes removed during radical hysterectomy and am now receiving pelvic radiation treatment. I'm not sure if compression would be suitable for the duration of treatment and I'm hoping the fluid will subside after I fully recover from surgery. I ordered a mini trampoline and walk every day. I also do pelvic floor therapy including deep belly breathing and gentle yoga with a focus on legs and pelvis. I would like to know the results of studies on lymph flow after pelvic nodes removed and/ or pelvic radiation so I can be sure which direction to massage or brush 🙏
Mobiderm!!! Thank you! I need neck area top of shoulder compression. Can you help me find a garment? Thank you ❤❤❤ had state 3 metastatic thyroid cancer, thyroudectomy and resection if so many neck lymph nodes
I tried the Mobiderm shorts, however I had to return them. The fitter said that I could use them with compression bandages or a garment for reducing swelling of the leg. However, neither bandages or a garment stayed up. The slickness of the thigh portion of the shorts made that difficult. I use the Mobiderm night garment which I love. When I spend the day at home, I wear the Mobiderm strips wrapped around my leg over stockinette and held in place by compression bandages. I was so disappointed that I could not accommodate both. If I had only pelvic and genital edema, I'd use them happily. But I feel that the most important swelling to take care of is the leg. I'd appreciate any suggestions you might have. Thank you so much.
