Book your reduced EDT's with us on the link above
How to apply for reduced EDT driving lessons in Ireland is very simple. I interview one of our students Richard and he explains the steps he took to apply for reduced EDT's.
When applying for reduced EDT's in Ireland, first you have to pass your Theory Test. After you pass your Theory Test, you then have to apply for your Learner Permit. Only when you have your learner permit can you apply for reduced EDT's because you need your new driver number.
How do I qualify?
If you have held your full foreign driving licence for at least two years and it has not expired more than 6 months ago you may get the reduced EDT programme and six month rule exemption.
If you have held your full foreign driving licence for at least six months but less than 2 years and it has not expired more than 6 months ago you may get the six month rule exemption only.
