I found 2 of 3 in a Ct store. Kinda bummed about not finding the Lost Monarch. I was kinda bummed about being kinda bummed over a 1st world problem. Thankfully, advanced rationalization skills and coping mechanisms allowed me to quickly get over the negative emotions. First world problems are still problems. 😤
Well it took 8 months but I was finally able to track down cask strength Pipe Dream and cask strength Emerald Giant. Now I just need to find the CS Lost Monarch.
My little town in Western NY has an exceptional shop that just got about 6 bottles of each this week. I was dumbfounded. Grabbed the Pipe Dream immediately. I’ll go back for the Monarch. That’s about as much rye as I get, so the Emerald Giant is probably a no for me.
Bourbon School, I am a traveling healthcare worker currently in the western upstate of NY (Rochester). Would you be so kind as to share the store information so I may perhaps grab one please? I have only been able to find the LE Grizzly Beast and the Rocket Top.
@@musicabove007 The store is called East Main Liquors in Fredonia. About 2 hrs from where you are. I would try Marketplace Liquors in Rochester. It’s a huge store with a great bourbon selection.
@@bourbonschool100 Marketplace Liquors is actually where I was able to find the Grizzly Beast and Rocket Top. If you are ever this way check out Lisa's Liquor Bar. Nearly every allocated bourbon is retail or $10 over. Very nice people in there and the manager has even saved me a bottle of Elmer T. Lee even though I wasn't looking for it. Thank you for the info I appreciate YOU.
