It’s funny how y’all’s role switched on the fern Canyon hike. It was Todd all gung ho saying we’re good etc. and Sheila had all the doubts. That was definitely a switch it up moment. Todd was encouraging Sheila this time. This is one of those top videos right next to it there’s no propane. And the crabs. Love you guys. Keep it up
Amazing trip, so glad you got to see fern canyon! Such a beautiful place. We camp just past where you were on Requa rd off 101 at Anglers Cove. They also have sites on the river but on the north side of it. Thanks for the wonderful video. Safe travels. Glad you got to visit this beautiful State.🤗
Another fun one! Todd, you have been married long enought to know that anything you say can and will be used against you at some point Sheila's hiking math is hilarious!
Thank you to all who have served their country to ensure that freedom and democracy prevail. Our gratitude will never repay the sacrifice laid down by our armed forces and other U.S. government agencies who fought the good fight. Since 2001, over 6,800 gave their life and over 25,000 were injured. Of those, many came home with serious injuries including traumatic brain injury, severe burns, lost limbs, and blindness, among other injuries. They went to war. Not many can say that. God Bless America.
Oh Sheila, don’t you hate when Todd throws your words back at you; ‘What’s the worse that can happen’. It did appear you were having a ‘Todd’let moment - lol. But I can’t say I blame you, wet feet yuk!!
Todd we never heard of Where the Red Fern Grows….had to look up the story…wow! Reading about the story brought tears to my eyes….can’t imagine how it felt watching the movie! Thank you for sharing!
Doing all the things. Great video. Have to admit it was nice to see Sheila having a toddler moment. My wife says I have many toddler moments, she, like Sheila has very few. Keeps the world in balance😅
Too funny. I love seeing the Redwoods, can't wait to see it again next month. I think you need to go back though - a bunch of stuff you missed. Like Comment Subscribe!
Just a kudos on the musical creativity of your intro song. The verse is in 7/4 time - which itself is a "switch up" in modern music - then the chorus switches to 4/4 time. Nice work switchin' it up! :) We love your vids!
So Shrek is n9 longer a pavement princess 👸, adventure is the unexpected moments that occur while doing something else. I love the redwoods. The 101 from Seattle to the redwoods has always been one of my favorite rides.
The truck trying to squeeze through that tree, kinda was like another winnie the pooh moment don’t you think? 😂 And so beautiful the forest, but i thought yikes it be spooky as ever in the dark, then you go n ride through it in the dark with the gas tank light on 😳( gulp!)🍻
No Todd, it's not a pavement pounder. It's called a Pavement Princess. 😭😂🤣. Need to get Shrike out in some Nevada desert or out on a sand beach. But the best part is when you bury it up to the butt. And have four other trucks pull you out. Then you know Shriek has been off road. I have photos of our truck buried and three four wheel drives hooked up to get us out. Took a month to get all of the mud off. Good old day out mud doggen. Love Shiela throwing her tantrum 😭😂🤣. Muddy wet shoes, no water, no lunch. I see a steak and lobster for Shiela. Todd's in the dog 🏠. Safe travels and roads Brian and Cindy, "xtreambydesign with passion"
Your video made me smile...sounds like Mike and I on our adventures. But when you mentioned Brother Bear 🐻 I had to go out and take pic of Rut & Tuk whi have been traveling with us since the movie came out when our oldest grandson who is 20 was around 4. LOL Still smiling!! 🙂🙂
Laugh out loud, with love! at this video. Thank you and we hope to make it to that magical canyon someday....and we always have one bottle of water in the saddle bag...even if it is warm, it is wet. Switch it up baby 😃 Definitely one of our favorites! Thanks for bringing us along (glad you had enough gas and GoPro power!)
33 states so far and no moose for us either. We’ve been to the upper peninsula of Michigan, to Maine, Glacier, Yellowstone, and no freakin moose. I think I’ll find Bigfoot first…or a unicorn.
Did I miss the kitchen organizing video mentioned last year? We are just trying to do what we can as weekend warriors. Please help us make it doable, simple and reachable. Till one day we can full time like y’all.
Love this area! You want to see a biggin’ tree? Go check out the GRANDFATHER TREE! They also have a tree log turned into a home, reminds me of an rv. Also the Jedidiah forest, another awesome hike in biggin trees! 😁 Great video.
One of my favorite places on earth. I love Crescent City, CA and the Redwoods. Looking forward to being able to go on the road and take my Hubby there. He has never been to the Redwoods. It is so amazing how God could create a tree so massive from such a tiny seed. That huge stump you drove by, I have pictures of my 5 boys on it!! Oh, the memories coming back.
Yes, happy you guy's have come to the Redwoods. I don't think I'll ever move from Humboldt and always love coming back home from our travels. I hope you made some good memories. A warm fire on a cold winter night in the Redwood Forest is the best that life gets in my opinion. Yes, specifically when the fishing is good on the rivers. We drag our 21FT RV with a very large slide with our Tundra, off road and camp in spots that other can't. Having a small setup is almost a must in these mountains an State Parks in the Northern California area. Happy for you two... hope you had some fun. We enjoy watching all your adventures, Thank's again for sharing :) PS: last week Big Foot was seen going south down the Trinity River in the Weitchpec area... picking blackberries, note the dark purple simle:)
Oh regarding moose: There are lots of moose up in Canada and in GTNP. The furthest south they range is Utah's Wasatch Range, just east of SLC. I lived in Park City for 21 years and I have video of them in my yard, with calves relaxing on the grass and munching the landscaping. There was a program for a while where Utah traded moose for Colorado's big horn sheep because both places had so many, but not enough of the other! Seeing a moose hoisted by a helicopter is quite something. I am mentioning this in case your return trip before the Bryce huddle takes you by the Park City area. There are some really nice State Parks in the area that can accommodate Fiona!
Stephanie 🌹 Rose here from, FLORIDA🌴 first time viewer first time subscriber enjoyed the content. U R Amazing! DO you get paid if I watched a little bit of it or if I shared it? I have premium RU-vid so I guess you get some money from the ad portion of this right? But on the other hand for people that don't have that do they have to see the whole video or commercial for you to be able to get paid on it? And if they click on your link for products just to browse if they don't buy do you get credit for that? Some places there are a lot of gray areas can you explain the gray areas please? B Safe, Stay Well 🙏 looking forward 2 more and your older visions. The reason I'm asking all these questions is that I am a older American that is wondering if my great great great great grandchildren would still be getting money from my videos if I decided to post on RU-vid long after I'm gone? Nice trust fund if it worked that way. Hey RU-vid can I lock you into that I'll make you some videos LOL!
We always watch your videos, but I wish we could see more of what you’re looking at. Example, the video where you saw a whale, and we didn’t get to see it. More of the redwoods…….
What an adventure! I had to laugh. First Todd voices his concerns about hiking distance, then Sheila is voicing her concerns about no water (I'm with you on that one Sheila) and wet shoes. Still you got to see an absolutely incredible beautiful magical place. It was worth it! Love the Coastal Redwoods and you are going to LOVE the Oregon coast. There are jet boats at Gold Creek in the southern part of the coast. Pretty fun. I hope you did the sand dune buggy tour! This was such a fun vlog. Keep switching it up!
Funny to see the role reversal of you guys on the last hike. Todd leading the way and Sheila out of her comfort zone! Glad you took us along, it does seem to be a magical place!
We were there 6 weeks ago drove the same dirt road and saw the Crescent City Elk herd . We toured the lighthouse that was fun had some great Cajun food who worked have guessed.
