I know these don't look like the Powerphases as much as the workout plus do, but I definitely prefer these over the workout plus' and a lot of the Powerphases design details can also be found on the classic model. Thanks for watching!

Personally, I love these shoes. They’re authentic and look great. Me myself, I am not a hypebeast. I’m also an old sneaker head. I prefer older shoes from the 80’s and 90’s. Better than the Calabassas.
From 7th or 8th grade (2006 or so) to about my second year of college (2012) I owned a white with gray pair of Classic Leathers. They were comfy AF, and pretty much went with whatever I was wearing. Fast forward to Fall 2022, and I picked up a pair of Classic Leather 1983s IN THE EXACT SAME COLORWAY. I felt like no time had passed between me and my sneakers.
I FREAKIN' LOVE, LOVE, LOVE my Reebok's. Been wearing them for over 30 years. I don't even care if they're trendy or not. I have a high arch & it's the only shoe that's really comfortable for me. I often get the Princess one but sometimes the classic. Both are very nice.
Honestly FowlerCustoms you selected the wrong reebok for this video. The calabasas in my opinion resemble either the Reebok Workout plus in the cream colorway, or the Reebok Club C 85 in the ivory colorway.
I think when people said that the calabasas powerphase looked like a reebok they were talking about the reebok workout. The classic looks nothing like the powerphase in my opinion.
Hey Seth ! May I suggest that you come up with a new number system (maybe 1-10) for the comfort of the shoes ? That will help greatly as it allows us to judge better. Great video as always!
Great vlog yet again Seth. On a parallel note, the Reebok Classic deserve way more recognition than just a comparison with the powerphase. I would however recommend you try getting your hands on a pair of the Reebok Classics Born x Raised in the white n hazel color way.... Some things need to be showcased in their prime!
Ive had over 10 pairs of these over the years, and have 3 classic leather and one nylon in the mail right now. Theyre just so damn comfortable and can be worn all day at work and out at night without ever thunking about whats on your feet. I thunk those yeezys look a lot more like the Reebok Club C tennis shoes though.

Just bought some classics online as wanted something more comfy than my Stan Smiths... Which are comfy but not for walking a lot. Was surprised that insole isn't very soft and is completely flat. Thought they'd be more comfy.
I have a pair of Reebok Classics in black and white with a gum sole bottom I bought at Marshalls for $40 which is a big steal since these retail for $65.
Classics are a classic for a reason. They are a bit stiff and take some break-in, but for a full leather upper nothing to complain about. IF you do go white, make sure you have a few magic erasers around the house--absolute necessity if you want to keep 'em *looking* white.

Where can you find the Classic leather sneakers with softer leather? I would really appreciate the info. I have recently purchased two pairs, one white and one black and both are made with more of a pleather upper. The old Reeboks I wore in the 80s had some of the softest all natural leather with awesome arch support. This 'newer' classic version is more man made and not as comfortable on the feet. By the way, I purchased the sneakers from Reebok.com.
im not sure where Kanye takes his inspiration from. but i did find this link lovevintageadidas.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/11/power-phase-1988.jpg according to the same site. powerphrase was introduced in a hightop version back in 1988, which is bout 6 yrs after Reebok workout plus. still, who comes out first is important or not is debatable. there's certainly many white sleek, minimalist shoes from all designer that resembles stan smiths or what not. does it really matter or not, in my opinion, popularity and mass appeals matters most. shoes were made to be sold, wore, and it's all business.
Unfortunately in the description of sneakers at the time of purchase do not speak of the format of the step if it is for pronated step, neutral, supinated ... :(

Can't decide between these (gum soles), or the ALL white (white soles)... Actually just ordered the gum soled ones bc they have more of a classic look to them imo, but I'm really tempted to return the gum soled ones and get the all white... Someone help me decide please!!!
I like the suede better than the leather . over the last 5 years I got one pair of navy blue then black then merlot , all blue suede , camo , white and got gold coming in the mail now . I just miss 5 years ago when they were 35$ + free shipping off Amazon . NOT ANYMORE

Reebok classic trainers are the most comfortable trainers ever I've had every make , addidas are narrow and tight , nike are clumpy or ugly but Reebok classic are smart looking and don't make your feet look huge , I'm flat footed and they are arched inside best everyday trainer and I've been wearing them for years 😊

I got holes in tongue what look stupid, anyone has too? and it should be more breathing. Older reebok shoes had another tongue with bigger pathern and its more breathable. But still 9/10 boot and very comfy
My favorite since my first, the topside in pink, :) One year they made the classic with an integrated flag of different countries on the outside of the heel and a small metal one inserted in the shoelace. I am from Puerto Rico and was amazed that I could have my favorite shoe with my country's flag. The shoes are long gone but I did keep the metal flag and wear it on other Reeboks I have. One last thing, Reebok Classics are NEVER ON SALE!!!
