Hi I currently have my car seat rear facing but want to have it forward facing now and I can't find my instructions. My daughter is now over 9kg so do I just install with the isofix and top teether but face her forward?
You can rear face in this car seat to 18kg which you should really do, it's safest to rear face until 4. If you're choosing to front face anyway then make sure you have a 55cm clearance from baby's nose to the seat infront 😊 I'm sure you've figured out the installation now?
Hello, you need to use isofix as well as the top tether to secure this car seat. You can't use isofix alone. Please place the top tether on the inside of the car for easy rotation.
@@reecleofficial Hi, thanks for your response. The top tether is inside the car, it's attached to the bottom of the seat (through the headrest and behind the seat). The issue is, we have the seat forward facing so when we want to rotate the seat the tether is too tight. The only solution is to add some slack to the tether, but surely this makes the tether useless and unsafe? I've seen a lot of people comment the same on Amazon reviews and Q&A and there isn't a solution. The car seat is fantastic in all other aspects but this is very misleading as the rotating feature was the reason we purchased the chair.
@@FairbrotherStudios Hello: The swivel function of this seat is designed for getting children in and out of car easier. When you want to swivel the seat, you can loose the top tether. After the children get in the car, you need to tight the top tether.
@@reecleofficialis there a way to have this forward facing, without having to release and re tighten the tether? Because to tighten i have to get into the boot and that just seems crazy to have to do this every time
@@Jay-kv8nu Sorry for the inconvenience, if you use isofix + top tether to secure this car seat, you have to release the top tether before you swivel it. All non-support leg swivel car seats are designed this way on the market.
