Reef Brite makes some of the best led fixtures. I love their strips.

Love the sleek design

Im running ReefBrite Lumi-Lites and XHO's on my tanks. The actinics really make those corals POP like no other! I dont get the shimmer I got with my Kessils but I really like the fact that I can get 5 of them over my tank and get much less shadowing. The extra 8 bucks for the optional dimmer switch is the best 8 bucks I have ever spent! The cheaper single row of lights on the strip for the non-XHO fixture actually uses slightly less power than a T5HO and gives about 15% more PAR and is a close approximation of the T5HO ATI Actinics in color spectrum on your tank.

I have actually tried the lumi lite pro and was really impressed. I had corals under them as well. They are really bright for such a thin light.

Do these lights grow coral? What if you just used them as the only light instead of using them to supplement another light?

Can those inline dimming buttons set a schedule for the reef brites? Like i can let it turn on at a certain time and off without me having to be there? Or do i have to manually turn it on then off cause thats tedious lol

Hey Jeff I got a question for ya! So I'm looking to accent my Noopsyche LED fixture with some Reef Brites. I have a 20 gallon Nano. 18" wide 16" deep and 16" front to back. Won't be able to fit the 15" XHO over it without light spilling everywhere. Would you maybe recommend the 8" Lumi light or they also have the little baby 2 bulb ULV light. What are your thoughts? These Reef Brites just make the corals scream color and I want more! Lol

Those are sweet! I’ve seen the xho’s at the Aquatic Experience in Schaumburg, and they look amazing in person! These lights would look great over my display tank and frag tank.

I really like the Reef Brites on my tank now, need to expand a bit for edge to edge coverage, but that's part of the fun. Learning what you like and what works. Good video and comparison.

Nice strips, By what you mention the XHO got to be the option to supplement other lights coloring speaking. I think that the lumilight got more spread for more crowded tanks, or use it as dusk/down/ moonlight. Or maybe to use it both to get the of best world.

I feel like I am missing something with this product. Why is it considered supplemental lighting? Couldn't I just put 4 of these on my tank and call it a day? They are cheap, efficient they provide even distribution of lighting AND shimmer! Why are people wasting time with t5ho/led hybrids if this can do it all just as well for cheaper?

I have a 24” xho on a 6 Bulb ati and it definitely can overpower the 2 coral+ / 1 6500k and 3 blue + I run I’d recommend it to anyone

I agree, great addition to any lighting system, I have 4×36" xho's and love the pop that they give the corals. The reflectors are top notch on these xho's as well. I've never tried the lumilite pro, looks promising and very low profile. How would you say the temp between the lumilite and xho's are? Housing wise. I know my xho's get a lil warm, just curious if the lumilite gets equally hot and or more/less.

Would be a high quality cost effective for my fish only!
