Great video as always! I have almost the exact same setup as you....about a month behind.....live sand...live rock....2 damsels and just added gsp and a mushroom!! No water changes yet for me!
I finally have mine stabilized. I took the flow generator off. I have two props on the left and right rear. They talk and the flow is coordinated. I did install a new filter basket and the Tunz 9001. All else is stock including lights. Working well. Softies coming next. I will say that the new filter basket was one of the best changes. Water flow is now directed through the basket.
Sounds like you have the flow down! Congrats on getting it stable because mine took a couple months so I know how that is. Also, good option on the back chamber.
@@SaltFishTV I will get some photos of the setup soon and will figure out a good place to post them. It’s basically your setup with an added feature or two.
@@DavidBruner_NJ I’m looking forward to seeing them. You are more than welcome to join the Facebook group named Reef Keepers to post all of your pictures and videos in. Or there’s always Instagram. I’d like to see them!
If it’s your first time I would ride out the new tank syndromes before adding coral, so maybe 3-6 months. You can add coral a few days after, but you really have to stay on top of it and watch everything very closely.
