Music video from the soundtrack for the film "An American In Hollywood". Starring JD Williams and Hassan Johnson from HBO's "The Wire" In Theaters July 18, 2014 in New York, New Jersey and Philadelphia.
Dope track n video! Good work to all involved and to Reef n Chris. Shout to Reef n Philly. Shout out to both of y'all. Two on my short list of favorite emcees. Reef, I saw u with AOTP at union transfer this past winter. That show was insane. I wonder, and of course i am not making light of Pun, but, does Chris get tired of being "Big Pun's Son" in describing his emceeing career? I think Chris is sick as shit lyrically. And so was his Pops. Maybe it helps with exposure, but, I feel, he can stand alone lyrically. He is his own man. I know his music enough to not even think about his family history when it comes to his music. But, it shows respect to the legacy of Pun and also reels in new, previously unfamiliar listeners who surely will become fans afterwards. Shit, that's how I became a fan of his! So I guess I see the point. But Chris doesn't need the title of Son. He's dope on his own. One RIP Pun.
I hate how people always put "Big Pun's son" after Chris Rivers name. He does not need that. Those who matter know and he dont need to ride on his dads name as he has chops of his own.

trufe4 I agree 2 but i only think its for those who are listning to rap since the early nineties to let them know theres still true shit coming out to this day. Cause most are really skeptical of there being any real rappers left. I think Chris has well made his name in the underground rap scene.
