This was a somewhat secret spot. I've seen double the usual boat traffic since this show. Don't mind it, but dont leave a mess. Saw two guy the other day throwing out there empties beer bottles and a bag of trash in the river the other day. Dont mind more fishermen and traffic just take home your trash. Love the show. Lets keep our water ways clean.
I live in bowling green got some good bass fishing here right there on county line where it turns into Polk at the bridge there is a little waterfall so that might be why the snook can't get up that way that much until the water gets higherbut you go North from that bridge you will hit a train track bridge there's some good bass right there
I've never caught a snook before I've seen and heard to many stories of people grating them. I don't know if you can help me out. Here is my situation: I don't have a boat so I'm only doing land based. Also I fish a lot on the beach, mainly John u Lloyd. Last year we pulled out 3 snook from that beach. But I haven't caught one myself. Just a couple week ago my uncle hook up on a decent sized on but lost it. I know how to fish the beach, but I need so tips on maybe weather conditions, how far to go out, things like that. Thanks a million!!!
I got 2 questions for you what boat ramp do you use and how heavy of a leader are you fishing. I have caught two snook outside of Bartow last year in the winter time on Zara spooks. Didn't think they came this far inland, guess I was wrong.
My dad and mom always go fishing LIKE A BEAR TO EAT FISHS AND I HATE FISHS MEET AND OF COURSE DON'T JUDGE MEH OKAY AND IM NOT A BEAR IM A WOLF THAT EAT MEET (really I do hate fish meet or seafood) well I'm not a wolf but yeah kinda 😅😡😀😊
To bad this area is about to be destroyed by the new Mosaic mine that will dump millions of gallons of slang water not but a mile north of this spot. Not even a mile from Charlotte counties drinking water intake plant.
