A comparison of unstabilized footage from a GoPro 6 camera and with Reelsteady stabilization. DVR for bonus. :)
The results of stabilization is nothing but perfect.
Gopro settings:
Shutterspeed: 1/60
ISO: 100
Protune: ON
White balance: 5500K
Sharpness: Medium
ND Filter: ND4 (I use ND8 when the sun is further up)
No color correction here, this is straight from the camera.
Settings in Reelsteady:
I use one marker in the beginning when the quadcopter flies at a stable pace. Sometimes I use a second or third marker if the throttle changes are big.
Smoothness: LOW
Cropping speed: SLOW
Drone stuff:
Ichabod JR frame
Crossfire
TBS Unify Pro
Xhover FC and 4 in 1 ESC
I have a GPS on board too but as you can see in the DVR it was not very reliable in this flight. I'm not sure why.
On the ground:
Fatshark HD0 with Rapidfire
Taranis
