I became obsessed with that Tiffany necklace after Legally Blonde. My husband finally bought it for me for our 25th wedding anniversary. That movie is everything to me.
Walk the Line is one of the greatest biopics ever imo. That’s probably my favorite performance from her. Great film. Johnny Cash is one of favorite artists ever, and Joaquin and Reese really did Johnny and June justice with their performances in that movie. The fact that they actually sang the songs and played the instruments really helped the movie feel more authentic. 🙌
Someone else mentioned it but I will again --where's Pleasantville ? I'd love to hear her thoughts on that one, It starts off as a silly fantasy, and blossoms into a beautiful, creative ode to awakening. The whole cast is great and though it's a lightweight role for her, Reese was just perfect.
This is one of my favourite celeb interviews ever. Reese also seems like she'd be pleasant to be around all the time (We all have our bad days), her smile is infectious too 🙂❤
I wish she would’ve talked about Freeway. That movie is so underrated, and she is absolutely hysterical in it. I think it shows how versatile she truly is. She can go from playing Vanessa to then playing someone like Elle Woods.
Reese Witherspoon is one of the best actresses of our time - quite prolific and always spirited. Her love for acting shows in the way she fully immerses herself in the lives she plays. She becomes them and yet, they are also a bit of her own spirit. She is very smart, talented, gracious, and joyful. I applaud her successes and am very happy for her! It will be interesting to see the paths her children choose.
I can’t believe they didn’t talk about Fear! That role was an important role for young women to see bc it centered around an unhealthy relationship and young women need to know the importance of walking away before it gets too deep or knowing how to spot red flags! Not to mention it was one of Mark Wahlburg’s first roles!
I think that movie is traumatizing for her 🤔 they wanted her to do some inappropriate things for that role! However she stood her ground and they eventually hired a body double!
Reese is a literal ray of sunshine. Also, as a huge Kidman fan, it warms my heart the way she fangirls over her. Women supporting women. Plus, she's so f-in funny, the way she acts out every line.
What a really lovely video. She seems to be extremely grounded. My favourite movies of hers are Sweet Home Alabama (with Josh Lucas) and ‘Home’. I love Home!
I’m not a big rom com fan but I have seen Sweet Home Alabama an obscene amount of times. Melanie Lynsky stole every seen she was in even though this is about Reese 😅
Lmao what does that even mean? They've both had plenty of work done, it's just been conservative rather than the horrific over the top stuff you usually see. No grace about it, just lots of money and respectable surgeons.
As much as I would like that idk if it’ll happen because of them being in very different career paths with Joaquin doing more artistic movies whereas Reese is doing nice comedy movies.
I just look at a picture of "Walk the Line" and I cry. Every time. The music and the love story are so important to me. They both did such an incredible job ... I've seen this movie about 50 times by now
A film she made when she was a teenager that introduced me to her was "A Far Of Place". I still think about that film 30 plus years later and she was awesome in it.
I love what she has done with "Hello Sunshine" -her production company that started as a book club.. and now buys book licensing @ auction and gets first rights of refusal to option them for movies/series with an automatic Executive producer credit+ she can star in it.. #Genius for an actor & her IMDB is 👌🏽💯😊
Cruel Intentions, as sad as it got near the end, has the most best use of karma I've ever seen in a movie lol. Every time I hear Bittersweet Symphony, I think of that ending haha.
