hey y’all i haven’t posted a video on here in a hot second! i also apologize for the young man meme getting taken down, i’m trying to fix it so that doesn’t happen again.

I saw hadestown and at the Stagedoor, I asked him what he writes in his notebook the whole time. I was expecting a quick little answer since it was a night show, but instead we had a good 7 minute long conversation about how he deals with having adhd yet staying in character and it honestly was pretty life changing.

i went stage door when I saw hadestown. i was in awe of his voice, and being in musical theater myself i asked him a question about his vocal technique and how he was able to produce such soft notes at such a high range. both surprisingly and unsurprisingly, he was very very gracious with the question. he even went as far as THANKING me multiple times for noticing because he said he had worked very hard on it. he spent five minutes answering me, moved on from me to sign more playbills leaving me in awe, only to COME BACK to me and build on his statement. he is one of the kindest broadway people out there. im so thankful he exists.

So, as someone who has never gone to a broadway show, how exactly is stagedooring? I'm pretty extroverted but I still feel like I would feel very awkward there. But at the same time, getting to talk to or ask Reeve a question does sound like a dream come true.

When I first listened to Wait For Me, I looked him up because I was in awe of his voice and in all the pictures on google, he seemed to me like a guy who hasn't really grown out of his emo phase (forgive me, that was just my first impression, I am stupid and I am sorry) but after watching this video and seeing his mannerisms out of character, he doesn't look like that at all. He's goofy and silly and such a precious human being who's so kind and considerate. Honestly, he kinda reminds me of Cameron from Ferris Bueller's Day Off. Just goes to show that first impressions are majorly inaccurate sometimes

I'm in the middle of watching Penny dreadful on Netflix and I did not know that he was in the show until he popped up on the screen and I was so happy because I met him when I went to see Hadestown at the stage door and she is such an angel! He was so nice I asked him about the Spiderman musical and if he was still affected by it and he said that he wasn't and he's all right! I told him that I was actually a fan of Spiderman the musical and he said that he was really happy because a lot of people didn't actually like it. I did not get to meet Eva though because she was really tired because it was like a two-show day.

My sister loves Hadestown (and has a huge crush on Reeve) so back in August, me, her, my little brother, and my dad were all at a park and they had one of those outdoor stages. I had my brother and sister get on the stage and act out Wait For Me, I tweeted it to Reeve, who retweeted it. i went to new york for a school trip and for our (original) last night (our flight got cancelled) we saw hadestown and one of my other classmates and i and our teachers waited outside and he and eva came out but they were moving so fast that the picture my classmate took is basically just his yellow beanie edit: just saw it again almost six months later to the day, and we didn’t get to stagedoor this time but i got to be in the FUCKING SECOND ROW and i was giving eva noblezada heart fingers during bows and she waved at me!!!!
