Antony Taylor is a walking disgrace. I couldn’t believe he was assigned to referee Chelsea vs City game.

For a referee who comes from Manchester, it's amazing how many times he gets to officiate matches involving clubs from there. Referees traditionally officiate one FA Cup Final each and Taylor did so in 2017. Allows a contentious Arsenal goal with the scorer Sanchez handling the ball and later sends off Chelsea's Victor Moses. So what happens three years later? He gets a special award of a second FA Cup Final and who is in the final? The same two clubs. Penalty to Arsenal and sends off Kovacic for being on the receiving end of a tackle. And who decided to give Taylor this second final? A certain David Elleray. The same David Elleray who officiated the 1994 Final and who awarded two dodgy penalty's to Man Utd against guess who? Taylor is just a part of a wider bias in PL football. There is NOT ONE of the 22 on the PL Referees List who comes from London and only one who comes from South East England at all. It is completely dominated by officials who come from the North and especially Lancashire /Manchester/Merseyside. For a supposed 'National' competition, it should raise questions.
