Referees are the first team onto the pitch. Their names are rarely announced, and they can never win. But the game hinges on them being the best team out there. No referees, no game.
Their names may not get announced but at the end of a lot of football matches we know exactly what the refs name is because they've usually fucked up & ruined the game! You forgot no consequences for being totally shit at their jobs! A referee is one of the few jobs u can get where u can continually be terrible at your job & still have a job years later!
@@JDelgadofitness No I wouldn't step in their shoes because I had enough talent that I could play the actual game. When your good enough to play the game why would u be a ref??
Lexico 81 you think being a ref doesn’t require talent ?? Lmao. When you’re a player you just focus on the game and your performance. When you’re a ref you have to focus on those things plus having to keep an eye on all the players safety and having to deal with ignorant people screaming your name like yourself.
Lexico 81 I do agree that there are some refs in the pro league that don’t deserve to be there but it’s the same thing with players. We all make mistakes but people only remember when the refs makes a bad call but not when a forward misses an open goal.
That was actually on of the worst ref calls in the World Cup, basically everyone in Spain knows that (I'm Spanish). It was straight red. He got yellow instead. Those Dutch were playing rugby.
well often there is a similar noise from the crowd.. just imagine someone in the crowd blows a whistle and he stopped although he could have scored... being that precies with rules, they would also have to penalize every goalkeeper holding the ball for longer than 6 seconds...
I don’t get people say Refree’s are stupid and blind, they should know they have been training for years and know much more about the rules then them, some Refree’s can make wrong decisions but it’s only because it was a mistake, they have to go throughout the game even though people are screaming at them. Love all Refree’s as they are the main reason soccer is even a sport.
but a bad decision is a bad decision. football is more than just a sport, its a lifestyle. in europe outside england we got ultras that give their life for the team and when a bad decision can decide a game it will wake much out of people. and specially on a derby
I am a Real Madrid fan and i have to say a great thanks to the referees of uefa when i needed Real to win they where there supporting us. Three years ago we (real madrid ) didn't have the referees on our side and we were losing all the time VAMOS REFEREES
"I am a Real Madrid fan" I can't tell if you're being facetious or if you're legitimately trying to come off as a Madrid fan. Either way, you didn't lose in the CL final due to refs lmao
man I love when the ref looks at the video replay and sends the player off and the player just cant believe it they dont know what to do coz they diddnt get away with it
van Persie getting that red card was FIFA controlling their ref's to make sure Barcelona won. Insane how obvious it was to everyone but Barcelona fans.
That's why I told you that "Referee is The Boss" 2:12 Referee said that "all of you get off from my face" 2:22 Referee beat The Beast (Zlatan) and The Beast couldn't do anything 2:42 Even The Idiot Monster (Pepe) sholud accepted referee decision, referee say " I saw you, don't try to lie me Referee warn that " Don't play with me, dude " 😎😎😎😎😎
Not when they make wrong calls because they lack knowledge of what it’s like to be a player. Most of them barely know their OWN rules. Bipolar Refs 🤦♂️
Referees make calls based on: seeing it and calling it right, seeing it and calling it wrong, and seeing it and calling it according to their employers' modifications of the law. Who pays you determines the call, too. That's why some calls and non calls make no sense until you include the financial influences. Not bribes. If you want to move up and get paid more as a ref, be prepared to call things differently. You can't y/r card star players and coaches. You must allow more than you ever would. The first time an Assessor tells you that you can't make those kinds of decisions because this player, team, coach are special and must be treated differently is a hard lesson. Business is business and money is money. Continue doing grassroots and club, but if you want more, be prepared for real life. The first time you red card a player and their coach tells you that there were scouts watching, whose at fault for the right call? Guess what, you may not be doing another game. The 6-second rule, keepers off their line, delaying restarts on free kicks...they're in the laws of the game. Call them at your own risk.
The referees should have a reserved-color uniform so that every player instantly recognizes that color as off-limits. This game it's blue, this game it's yellow and black striped, this game it's red and white striped. Poor logistics.
You can’t do that because every club can have it’s different colours. And sometimes in certain weather or time of day, the colour of uniform for ref will change
Neuer played the ball inside the box, touched it, before he touched Higuain and the lifted knee is according to the rules, because goalkeepers are allowed to take a protective stance. There was no penalty.
All those 793 people who disliked this video are simply those sado’s who just blame everything on the officials, and are yet to realise at the ago of 34 that they’re not going to be a pro player! 🤣🤣🤣
Exactly. Referees are also human. We are deficient with the perspective from the umpires. We should cultivate more various standpoints when we watch sports. Umpires are INDISPENSABLE for sports.
I don't understand when the referees give a yellow card to the Nigel De Jong besides De Jong already to kick chest from Xabi Alonso in FIFA WORLD CUP 2010... according to me... should the referees give a red card not a yellow card... thats my opinion
1:46 www.fifa.com/mm/document/footballdevelopment/refereeing/02/36/01/11/27_06_2014_new--lawsofthegameweben_neutral.pdf Page 122: When a goalkeeper has gained possession of the ball with his hands he cannot be challenged by an opponent. possession of the ball includes the goalkeeper deliberately parrying the ball So Neuer was in possession of the ball, Higuain challenged him therefore resulting in a free kick. Good call by Rizzoli.
I Agree with the referees decision here but, neuer was not in possession of the ball, it his his hip. To have possession of the ball when you are a keeper, you have to have a hand and another surface touch the ball such as the grass, or another hand.
@@Ari-gw8os "possession of the ball includes the goalkeeper deliberately parrying the ball " - link is now expired, but that is written in the official FIFA laws.
You all are saying stupid decisions but I would like to see you at their level with that much pressure and so much at stake and until you put on a yellow shirt and go out there on a field and do that don't be critiquing them even if you think you know soccer and you play soccer. Unless you are a ref you will never see it from their point of view
