Among the many times I teared up during the past 2 weeks, one was when I saw someone's reaction video saying how it's as though she was a flower bud frozen in suspended animation since the Hwaa era and finally blooming again.
All I could think was that the set she's on is a melted version of Hwaa, maybe going into spring? Since, in Hwaa, they were standing on "ice, perhaps a frozen lake/pond? As Soyeon mentioned that Hwaa IS a winter song, therefore I thought of Agassi as going into the next season becoming spring, blooming with, what's her theme? Flowers.

How is nobody talking about how soojin essentially brought back the spring that (G)-idle lost in hwaa? Like she's dancing in water, there's a bunch of flowers in the mv, multiple hwaa references, everything is the color red like how hwaa ended, and there is a hann reference!

And while this may be a stretch, her being on the phone has me imagining Soyeon in I Love (born ver.) talking to her on the other side. The end of the photobook has 6 pictures with each of OT5 and a picture of a phone maybe meaning that they've been keeping in touch (at the very least maybe got feedback from her regarding all of the Marilyn Monroe references in Nxde correctly).
lets support soojin as a soloist and move on from her departure from idle. Although there are no doubts there are multiple references lets try to move on and support soojin new carrer as a soloist !!!!
very true! I'm sure this video was just made for fun, but it's still important we support soojin as a soloist and recognize her accomplishments as her own!
Yes we support Soojin, but its also important to knwo that she deserves to come back to G-IDLE, her throne was taken by lies, SHE deserves her spot back, and she can have her solo career alongside her too, many K-Pop groups already sub-divide themselves into soloist or 3-groups, G-IDLE should not be the expension
@@jadebayoba7073 she deserves to be in GIDLE, but theres nthg we can do abt it, she has already debuted as a soloist so why can't we support her new job? It's been 3 years, and if we keep this going on then she's going to get her popularity by being a former member of GIDLE, not her talent.
@@_myeonn because G-IDLE deserves Soojin and Soojin deserves to be in G-IDLE, and its known Soyeon has been wanting to separate G-IDLE fron CUBE due to misstreating, she and the girls want to go to another company and its the oerfect opportunity for Soojin to get back as a former member, she deserves her place, everyone has been wanting her to come for 3 years
Idk if this is right but I think her concept is similar to I burn because that was the album she was last in before y'all know what, but I feel like her other song concepts will match the albums she's not in, the ones she was in, or at least ft an idle member I hope.

The part where soojin with the water speckles on the glass scene is similar to their hwaa album photos hoot (soyeon posed in a similar shot that's why it looks very familiar ❤)
not to be THAT person, i love this channel a lot and i am subscribed for years... but seeing nevies comparing everything soojin does with gidle is a bit disrespectful in my pov... she strugled a lot these years and i dont think she wants to be remembered as part of the group all the time, also don't think these are "references", she is a solo artist now. she worked very hard in her debut and idk, i just don't think is the nicest thing to compare her solo stuff with idle stuff, especially things that she wasn't even involved (ot5 releases). this is my opinion, not a hate comment or anything, and i am very open to hear other fans opinions as well :D
i totally get that! i wasn‘t trying say that those parallels are intentional or even references at all, i just thought that it might be fun to make a video like that, since this channel is still a gidle but also soojin channel:) i didnt mean to „compare“ her work and simply just wanted to show some parallels that i thought of while watching her mv haha. i totally see her as a soloist now and not just a „former member of gidle“ and support her solo work:) thanks for the comment!
when I was talking about the album to my friend there was a lot of things that reminded me of Hwaa/I Burn but I might've been thinking too hard about it
Also her on the telephone is a reference to the phone at the end of I Love Born version photobook while they were all on thay adventure she heard about it on the phone
not that its a bad thing to love soojin, shes so incredibly amazing. just yall r always REACHING to find interactions and references. i kinda respect yall for it
