no, if you want to remove the magnetic roller there is not another way. you may remove the other side cover on the left, but it's the same, there are 2 tabs to cut. instead of soldering iron you can use screws
Followed each step in the video (including the chip replacement.)... everything seemed to be great, except when I print, NOTHING is printed (yes-I did add the toner). Any ideas as to where to go from here (besides to the store to get a new cartridge). Thanks

Hul Narith do you clean the cartridge ? the toner left into the cartridge is mostly waste toner and if you have 2 different type of toners the quality will be compromised. also check the doctor blade, it must be perfectly straight
@@viandant5 i love this. The issue is that bush which after 2-3times opened become larger and need to buy new cartridge. Now i have bizhub4020 and without chip no more print.... Is stop printinc. Konica say 1chip=20k page but actualy i print around 3.5k page... And 1chip=10-12$.
any hp printer with color toner. When you ask that are you saying there certain color toners from some hp printers compatible with a hp laserjet pro 400 (which is not a color laser printer). im really curious if this can work but i thought to ask a specialist rather then tryin it my self.
