www.dieseldb.info/refilling-calibrating-bosch-piezo-injectors/ If you are looking to refill / calibrate Bosch piezo injectors, here the tool / device that helps you to do this job.
I had difficulty finding ISO oil for purchase, so I spent a significant amount of time searching for potential alternatives. During my research, I came across videos where individuals used the same fluid found in ultrasonic cleaners, leading me to believe that it might be diesel. Additionally, the comments I found seemed to suggest that using diesel could be acceptable in this context. I appreciate the information I came across in the comments. Thank you for your assistance.
Whats the torque you are using when you are tightening the end cap of the injectors? Also it would be nice to know what distance you are setting the "piezo amplifier" to? ;)
Hello, yes, once the injector is opened, the hydraulic amplifier is discharged (it looses working pressure). You need to pressurize again, then injector will work.
Does this have to be refilled with calibration oil or diesel every time the injector is opened/cleaned? Heard once a piezo Bosch is opened it won’t work again - is this because of not doing this procedure? Thanks 👍
Yes, that is correct. If the Bosch piezo injector is opened, after it is mounted back, if calibration is not done on hydraulic amplifier, the injector will not work. In our work shop we use calibration oil.
@@chungyul7 Hi, we a diesel workshop and have done a lot of work with Bosch piezo injectors. It is hard for me to believe this. What is the part number of your injectors?
Hello, If Bosch pirzo injector is dismantled, the hydraulic amplifier looses the working pressure. In the movie, we show how our tool charges the amplifier back to the working pressure.
