I did OK with a few batches , but the trouble i had was because i did them over such a long period of time , spare time after work , a bit on the weekends etc etc , i lost track of what i had done on each batch and it became confusing , but Anyway i will check out the link you sent me , thanks again . Hello Peter, eyeglasses are usually very straight forward. 1. Remove the glass, plastic and any obvious non gold filled metal. 2. Burn off the oils and organics. 3. Remove the non gold metals with dilute nitric acid. 4. Refine the remaining gold material. 5. Melt into a button and Bite 🦷 the Gold to test it’s purity 😂 Very easy with no strange results ☝️ Thanks much Peter, you are 24k Golden! Peace Prospector Tripp

Please use extreme caution if you decide to do these Deadly ☠️ Reactions! I used a mic for this video and so you often can’t hear my fan blowing directly behind me, exactly where it is needed to safely blow away deadly fumes! If the wind is not cooperating I also wear a chemical mask. Never try any chemical reaction indoors. Please Read and study it out before trying anything. I have seen refiners with fume hoods in a Confined Space (garage) thinking that they are safe. Unless they have a high quality air handling exhaust system with gas and chemical alarm systems with emergency power backup to ensure that the their fume hood and air system continues to operate in the event of power failure and or course safety measures a fire extinguisher, OBA and other PPE gear. If so there probably somewhat save. 😂 Outside there’s many risks for sure, but it is “Not a Confined Space” which is where people make a mistake then suddenly overwhelmed by fumes and can’t make it out☝️ Safe and sound and healthy my friend. @@SkovianGoesOutdoors Refining is much safer than driving in the Boise Idaho traffic nowadays 😂 A tiny whiff of refining fumes blowing around outdoors of most refining acid reactions is not much of a health risk but still needs to be avoided as much as reasonably possible. Directing a strong fan to blow the fumes away really helps a lot too. A good chemical mask for extra safety is also a great idea. Gulping a breath of the Dark Brown / Red Aqua Regia fumes is Fatal. I don’t totally know how much is really necessary but reading it’s fatal I try to avoid all fumes. My AWD 72v 3.9 sec 0 to 30 mph, 12.3 sec 46mph 1/8 mi ebike is quite dangerous too! 1 gram or 1 Oz doesn’t really matter all that much except for the amount of chemicals and materials needed. A large amount of placer gold I would in-quart with silver then strip off the silver and base metals with dilute nitric acid leaving the Gold. Then if you are wanting it highly pure it’s necessary to refine a couple times to get the purity very near .999 pure!
