Reflections on the Four Freedoms 

On Saturday, April 6, 2024, Nancy Roosevelt Ireland '74, Chair, Board of Trustees, and William Harris, Director, of the Franklin Delano Roosevelt Presidential Library and Museum, hosted a gathering of Vassar alums from the Classes of 1974, 1975 and 1969 on the occasion of their upcoming 50th and 55th Reunions. The four distinguished members of Vassar's faculty who reflected on the Four Freedoms as espoused by President Roosevelt in a historic 1941 address to Congress - freedom of speech and expression, freedom of worship, freedom from want and freedom from fear - included Robert Brigham, Miriam Cohen, Jonathon Kahn and Mia Mask.
