Back in the '50s, the old would turn up at cinemas to watch a film and then stay in the cinema to stay warm, often watching the same film over and over. I wonder when the old start turning up at their local Town Hall, en-masse, with a blanket and flask in the morning, walk on and stay there as long as possible, stating they are they "To be warm because they cannot afford to heat their homes." Imagine the embarrassment of Town Hall personnel. How could they throw them all out? Local politicians would immediately contact their MPs who would then contact and put pressure on Keir "Pensioner" Starver and Rachel "Pensioner" Freeze to change their abominable policies.
