"This is Britain first, putting the United Kingdom first. It's a very basic, quite old fashioned concept, but it forms the heart of our contract.”
Reducing immigration, taxes and regulations on British private enterprise are among some of the pledges that Reform UK plans as part of their manifesto, says the party's deputy co-leader Ben Habib.

To generate renewable energy in the last few wild places in the British Isles trashing ancient peat bogs, carbon sinks, in the Shetland isles thousand of miles from the largest population centres in England at huge cost in materials, man power, and our wild places. The model of power generation on a massive scale ie giggawatts in one place is so early 20th century when generation was done in the coal fields beside rivers, the Trent Valley for example because most of the population was there. If huge arrays of turbines are deemed necessary which they are not because smal scale generation ie small wind turbines in communities operated by local co ops and solar on most buildings can supply most needs, then build them where the power is used Hampstead heath, Epson Downs, Saddleworth moore, Cannock Chase etc etc.

We have such huge access to gas and oil. All shut down. Nuclear is extremely viable energy source. Solar and wind is not viable even when you aren't factoring how much it costs in carbon production in making the actual solar or windmills etc. Again the amount of carbon being released driving climate change isn't even agreed science. Ben Habib, excellent, Nigel Farage, characterful, RichardvTice, bright and practical, David Bull, will sort out NHS. Compare these top four to Starmer, Rayner, Lamy and Streeting and clearly the decision is simple. Or compare to, insert new name here every month, Tories again the answer is obvious. The contract wont be perfect when released today but will be 90% better than anythinb else we see.

Do the research. The Institute for Fiscal Studies think-tank said the party’s plans were based on “extremely optimist assumptions” about growth and the sums “do not add up”, meaning the manifesto as a whole was “problematic”.

Some of the contributors here seem not to understand the latest poll results where Reform UK surpassed the Conservatives, which do not reflect constituency voting but perhaps a national minority sentiment. Our current system means that for Reform to beat the Tories, they must do so in each Constituency. Although Reform UK may get one or two seats, they will not be the official Opposition.

It's a great contract. After watching their press conference, they have plausible answers on costing. All hypothetical as they won't be in power. However, I'll be voting REFORM as it's i believe they can make a real difference. If Labour get in for 10 years we can expect the same apathy to the general public we've seen from the Conservatives. Politics shouldn't be hard, nor shady. I dont want to read about politicians becoming millionaires after office. I don't want to read about kickbacks to friends. I want policies that are for the benefit of the UK...REFORM want that more than any other party.
