The “It burns, they lied to me! I thought I was good!” part gives me chills every time… it’s a stunning reminder of the just punishment I’ve been saved from, and now it’s my obligation to spread my testimony in the hopes that it helps others, too, be saved.
@@mikeydavis6033it doesn't sound to me like the person you corrected needed to be lectured. We do need to share our testimonies in light of the Gospel. Like my testimony for instance, being on heroin for 11 years and now being 4 years clean, all because He caused me to call on the Holy name of the LORD ADONAI in Christ Jesus because my life was total chaos. See? It's the difference between being alive and being dead in sin, and we absolutely must share our personal testimony in urging others to hear the gospel. It's what the apostles called having an "apologia" to support the message we carry. The person you corrected did not need to explain all of this to you but I felt obligated since you did something that I've had the habit of doing, until the Lord corrected me through another's rebuke like I'm doing for you now. Let's be kind to our fellow citizens of God's Kingdom. Rebuke and exhort but don't be splitting hairs like that. ❤

Christian artists make the best and most meaningful rock music. Prime examples are Skillet, TheBandRed, Ashes Remain and now Reformed. Not to mention Nathan Wagner who is literally my favourite ever artist. His music reaches my soul better than any other

Here is another theme for a song. “Depart from me”/“I never knew you”. Crucifying Christ afresh and trampolining his blood under foot would probably be lines in there somewhere.
I definitely prefer some of Victor's covers and earlier content, but I'm really glad he's doing something he wants to do. I can feel the passion in his songwriting and delivery on this track and Reprobate, and even as someone who hasn't been churched in a while I have to respect an artist doing what he loves!

It is actually me screaming at the top of my lungs saying a variety of things from the perspective of someone who thought themselves righteous and deserving heaven, but are instead tormented in Hell. Pretty unsettling, stuff like from the perspective of a new ager, lukewarm church attender, atheist, etc.
