Mis Mindy i love this story as much as the mistaken identity💕 i love the clean romance, these books are great just as they are, love and tenderness is so lacking in the world. So getting it like this in a clean decent way in a far away land in a far away time is so lovely 🌹 thank You for your talent and the beautiful voice that narrated these beautiful stories❤
This was really a great read, especially coming right off of the previous book (of which we get some overlapping scenes). I really enjoyed the growth in his character and the additional stressors and adventures that come about with a lady and a young boy.
Its like a series I cant stop binging 😄 loved the Scotish influence and again credit to the Narrator for bringing this lovely story to life. Clean and written with so much passion and love. Simply beautiful.
Good job of redeeming him, I disliked him immensely in the previous book. I would love to visit Mull after this. Just one tiny piece of feedback, we English do not wear pants, or at least only as undergarments! X
Thank for the narration. Both novels were very amusing. Spoiler: I think it is very unfair that both characters lost their good names in society and little Gus lost his earldom for a rake's and scoundrel's welfare. They should have been bolder and made him signed a guardian resignation. He was drunk anyway. But life is not that simple, I suppose.
@@shahmanz yes I agree. So far, Ian is acting like a spoilt brat who is just used to putting out his hand to his brother, Conrad to pay all his bills but I am sure this is Ian's redemption story.
After the rakish character he portrayed in Book 1 , Ian slowly grew on us readers. He showed himself to be insecure, defensive, someone who needed love and acceptance.... and even though he was unwilling to change certain aspects of his character at first, he inevitably did the right things. This proves to me that when love and trust is given, good actions will follow. Thanks to the author and the best narrator of her stories.😊😊
1:32:01 - oh my goodness! I am loving this book so far! How did I not see it when it first came out!? It is so good! Sigh... I just finished it... So good! So, so good!
Wonderful book and so well read I was hooked from the first five minutes thank you for your lovely images of this time I feel I would have enjoyed living in this time aside from the arrangement of marriages
@@mindyburbidgestrunk7846 I understood that but a jest that's repeated several times doesn't come across like one. Apart from that, I enjoyed your books very much and am truly grateful for the upload. Thank you 🍄
I very much enjoyed listening to this book just an FYI for the future series. Please indicate which is book 1,2 etcetera. I find it makes more sense when listening to the other books. Thank you for the telling of this style of book.
Why do all this paperwork when all he had to do was marry her and then become the boys guardian. With the connections Ian has it would of been far easier .
In the Regency just marrying the mother would not have given Ian guardianship. It would have stayed with the uncle because he is the blood relation of the boy. And he would have taken the boy from his mother and there was nothing she would have been able to do about it then. Even with Ian's brother being titled, the law was on the uncle's side. It's possible that they could have gone through the whole court issue, but it would have taken a long time to resolve. Thus the paperwork.
I disagree. He will still inherit his mother's title and all her lands. And I think he would probably rather carry on the name of someone who loved him, rather than someone who was abusive and a terrible person. That is my opinion and so that is the story I wrote. When you write your story, you can have the man die in a duel. That's the beauty of writing books. You are literally the author.
