I recently met a lady who used to go to Chuck Swindoll's church and she told me she was there to hear this message. We both now live in a 55+ plus community. God has drawn us together. It's so encouraging to hear this message! Blessings!
You have blessed me for many years now. My brother had muscular dystrophy when he was 16 yrs old the doctors said he would not live to 18yrs old, God had other plans though. He went college and graduated in computer science. You were an inspiration to him. He is with our Lord now, he died at the age 52yrs. He helped with the 4yr old in church and oh, how they loved to ride on his wheelchair. He made a statement one day that he couldn't wait to get to heaven so he could stand up and see how tall he was. He had many struggles through life but Jesus was always there.
Joni had this accident a year after I was born again and I have followed her life to this day..is that really Chuck Swiindoll she is talking to now.Cant believe it! There's no one like Joni! I wish she knew how much she and her sweet husband meant to so many. Joni, you've allowed our Faithful Father to use you in so many ways to make the whole a much better place. When we all get to heaven I hope that you will be able to meet the countless numbers of souls whose lives you saved and gave hope and direction to. I hae lost count of how many times I've listened to her book, "The God I Love!!!!" My favorite part is the part where her friend Jackie, sang that beautiful song to her!!!" "Man Of Sorrows, what a name, for the son of God who came! Ruined Sinners to reclaim, hallelujah, WHAT A SAVIOR!!!!!!" I love, truly LOVE that part, because, when Jackie's son had taken his own life, Jonie wrote to Jackie saying, "I wish I were there, because if I could be, I would hold your hand, and I would sing you that song, you sang me many years ago!!!!!" WOW!!!!!!

Dear Joni, I’m 64 and have only just discovered you and your ministry. Just wow to you for the true love you have for Christ. You are a warrior in every sense of the word. 69eyre Thank you for these beautiful words, they soothed my troubled heart. I'm been through such heartache and sorrow and recently I was a victim of a crime where I almost died. It's been really difficult and I have been struggling to just feel emotion again. I love Isaiah 43: 1-7 and those words spoke deep to my heart. Thank you for taking the time to write this beautiful anthem in it's entirety.
