Can you believe the main floor is complete?! In case you missed it, we already started on the basement! Check out my latest videos on the laundry room and guest bathroom makeover on my channel 💛 Thank for you for the endless support as we continue to DIY this house into a home!
Exactly. right now, the table is protruding out past the board/batten wall. If it were turned 90 degrees to orient along the longer wall it would fit better. Then Tina could add some more artwork to balance out the longer side of the table!
Hi Tina! 🙋🏻♀️🇺🇲 1️⃣ The rug is perfect! Such a great idea to add trim to the plain doors! They look great in the sage green! It looks pretty and cohesive as you move from area to area! Great job!!! 🤩🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🎉 2️⃣ 🎨🖼️You asked about art. I'm one of your "older" followers at 54. I like trees, plants, landscapes and cats. I love mid century modern. Not the biggest fan of random patterns. 3️⃣ I'm so glad to see you fixing up your home and outdoor spaces. I just moved from an RV to a 2 bedroom apartment. It feels like a mansion. I want to fix it up with some renter friendly ideas. So keep being you and thanks for sharing your journey! ♥️ Sending you hugs, and hopes for good health & lots of happiness!!! 🫂🫂🫂💖😄🤩🌟✨
Love everything! I might consider adding a light fixture over the dining table. I feel like an overhead light source other than canned lighting anchors the space yet still offers a cozy feeling. Just a thought but your eye and design instinct is so on point! You’ve taken a house and made it a home! ❤️❤️
Really wish those windows where the bench is missing an opportunity to impress like a bistro moment vibe would that bench with the back fit in there ?? Would be a Great tea or coffee Moment with a small bistro set in by those windows as for the dining room possibly adding even more board & Batten would look Good on the wall where you hung the art Work...just a thought as a home is never truly Done but adding more drama into a home no matter how settle is Great 🥰
Looks great - I’d love to see the dining table orientated the other way. It looks like it’s too long where it is now? Does it crowd the door it is next to? It might just be how it looks on camera 🤷🏻♀️
My favorite makeover was the back entrance and nook! Just curious, have you thought about changing the table to run along the longer wall? I don't know what's to the right of what we see but you might be able to see your cute place settings better
I have said my favorite makeover is the entryway and the mudroom! PS: am I the only one that prefer the table the way they are?? This is your home, Tina make it the way you like it. Appreciate that you ask for our opinion but don't forget that this is your home ❤️❤️
Tina! For a looooong time I have said to myself (and, I imagine maybe even commented) when you’ve made art, “She could sell prints of that!” So, YES! Art prints are a great idea! The house looks so amazing. You make it look so easy! So happy for you both! Can’t wait to see what’s in store next!
I have been watching you since way before you left your corporate job. I love the update. Making artwork works be fabulous! I love what you did in gutter garage and your flower artwork. I love everything you do!!
That area looks great, your hard work really shows. I love Mrs Meyers products, use them every day, and so happy to see them as a sponsor instead of Cricut!
I was just about to purchase new interior doors for my entire house but you’ve inspired me to do the trim and SAVE MONEY 😻 your space looks amazing!! You are beyond talented!! ✨
I have really enjoyed All of your makeovers Tina! You are so enjoyable to watch & listen to - your videos are very satisfying & motivational! Actually I thought your hallway makeover was pretty epic - I didn't know what to expect & as usual you rocked it - I thought it made Such a difference! An area not everybody considers making over but it's just those kinds of things that are the difference between mediocre & Spectacular!! And you girl are Spectacular!! .....and hubby's not so shabby either - lol! ♥
Wow can’t believe it’s been almost a year already! I’ve been around since your California days when you were making over your apartment there. I loved what you did there but you’ve really levelled up your design and DIY skills! Love how this full kitchen dining room space came together! Can’t wait to see updates when you decorate for the holidays!
I love them all, but I’m choosing the hallway makeover as my favorite, because it was so unexpected. The way you made it look so amazing was a real revelation for me.
My favorite projects are your front entryway the light fixture EVERYTHING about that space and of course the Powder room. I love everything you do. Including the crawfish- THE SEAFOOD BOIL🥰❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Have you considered rotating your dining table 90 degrees so the shorter end is against the board and batten wall? It seems like the table is too long to go lengthwise against that wall but you have plenty of room the other direction. Just an idea, would love to see how it looks in a video and then maybe people can vote on their preference. I think you'd love it the other way!
@@lilithanne5506 It's driving me crazy that the table juts into the walkway of the door but I'm probably being nitpicky haha. Still beautiful either way!
Oh my goodness it all looks so fresh and beautiful. Love all of the colors you selected. Love the darker colored lower kitchen cabinets and light color on top ones. It's all so lovely. Thank you for sharing your video.😊
I’ve been subscribed since y’all lived in LA and I’m so happy to see the process of y’all buying a home and fixing it up! My fav makeover might be the entry way or bedroom but I can’t decide. Also I would LOVE to buy your art prints! It doesn’t even matter what style lol
Omg Tina I have enjoyed the journey of watching you fix up your home your husband and yourself have wonderful infectious personalities! And ohh that blue 👕 … you deserve to succeed 🇨🇦👍
Hey Tina! I love your work. You know that you are so creative. I love everything from this DIY and the rest of the first floor with the exception of those drawings from this episode. I know that you can do better because you are a truly creative. Look at what you did so far! The doors. The doorknobs and don't forget about the centerpiece! I can't forget about the garage mural... whaaat?! You go girl!
My favorite makeover surprisingly is the garage! Even though it was mostly paint, the garage makeover just let your creativity run wild and I love that kinda stuff. Also the back yard is just wow now!
Love the art 🖼 idea! The boho style you’ve made is awesome like the mural in your garage. And muscleman Brian with the blue painter’s t shirt? Love how he supports you🥰👏👍
Loved the backyard and kitchen makeover. Can't wait to see you finish the basement. Where will all of your tools go? I would buy you diy objects and art in a heartbeat!!!!
I've been here since the apartment and to see everything come full circle has been so exciting. My favorite spaces have been the powder room and Kitchen. The dining room is really nice too.
It looks amazing. You have such a great eye and creative mind. I love your prints, the one you did in the dining room so pretty, I’m totally a plant person. So I’d love plant prints. Thank you for sharing
I am one of your silent OG subscribers. I watch your videos from your apartment from Chicago (before you guys moved to LA.) I am really happy watching your videos and I also started my channel this year. Loooove your recent garage makeover!!!! Keep doing your videos!!!
Hi Tina, absolutely fantastic work from you as usual. 👌👌👌🙏 I have been really eagerly waiting for a new video from your stable. And as always, you surpassed yourself since your last project. To me, you are competition only to yourself as your creativity is boundless. Must say, I would also love to have the work of art done by you adorn my house walls. Thank you very much all the happiness you spread by doing all your projects. May God bless Brian and you, always.🙏
I've loved watching your journey with your new home. Just moved into my first single family home (also an old Chicago home) and got a ton of inspiration.
💕Although I love many of your ideas & fully understand that we all have different tastes in colour💕I always think of each room as an individual space & give each space a different colour sometimes I will bring some elements in from another room to tie them together💕
Can't believe you've been in this home for almost a year! It's hard to choose my fave makeover but my faves are the home office, entryway and laundry room. The DIY planter is my fave piece of this makeover! Love how cohesive the entire area is 🙂Well done, Tina!
Another great refresh/transformation!! My favorites are Brian’s office and the powder room. I would love to purchase abstract art prints or the clay projects you’ve done in the past although that may be difficult in large quantities.
I've been here since you lived in LA...It's a hard choice to pick which room makeover is my favorite because I love the all...You and Brian have done a wonderful job renovating your home...
It's hard to pick a favorite project since they're all so good, love them all. I am drawn to kitchens, laundry's and bathrooms, just my interest and organization projects. I like all your ideas!
I love this makeover and it’s so inspiring that little changes can make a big difference! Have you thought about rotating the dining table (so the short side would be near the board and batten)? I think it would create a better flow to that room! Good luck 😊
