I don't know why, but I even find still logos interesting because even though they may have no animation, I feel that they are still doing as great of a job of detailing a company's branding history as animated logos do. When I saw the third logo, that is still a prime example of what I just said.
As always, a decent RLE from you Cam! Castle Home Video has a lot of interesting logos, despite their simplicity. Quite surprising that they used 5 logos during a brief period in 1990! I always wished that 1 logo from the company featured an obvious castle, but a portcullis from the castle gatehouse is better than nothing. It seems like you're just entering the castle just by watching the whole VHS tape after the logo plays (which is just the entrance to the castle)! Looking forward to RLJE Films for the next episode, which I have not heard about until this video. :-)
Take your time on the next video! I understand schoolwork is important (especially being a freshman), so take all the time you need! Edit: Yes, it does look like "eastle"
I noticed a slight error… At the beginning, when he mentioned guild was the only British vhs company he did, well, he does realize polygram is British… right?
Opinions: Grid of Doom (1987 - 1993) - I don't hate it, but it looks incredibly cheap and the music is awful. The Arrows of Doom (1988 - 1998) - The music's fine, but the animation looks a bit tame. But I do like it. The Portcullis of Boredom (1989 - 1999) - Very boring. The Colourful Arrows (1989 - 1990) - Even more boring due to lasting longer. The Colourful Arrows II (1990 - 1992) - Decent, it has some effort put into it. Rainbow Oval in Space (1995 - 2007) - I like it, but I don't like how it ripped-off the Universal logo. Overall, I don't have a favourite, but the ones that I do like are the 1988, 1990, and the 1995 logo.
I am SO sorry if I'm late but, yeah, it has been a while after finnkino was released, it is also weird that castle home video used 5 logos at once in 1990, I could agree with that...
I think there should be a logo evolution episode on 20th Century Fox despite the large amount of logos the company had before they were bought out by Disney. Fox also had a couple logos that were used in Russia.
Little know about the first logo. That distorted guitar note in that logo was also used in the RTR Vesti (News) opening intro from 1991-1995 as I checked on Closing Logo Group Wikia. Here's the link: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-NQGxyQgUqZ4.html. The guitar note starts at 0:14, when "ВЕСТИ (VESTI)" text appears. Why you doesn't say that in this video?
Most people his age have at least 20 exams, Lucas. The reason of those extra exams is because of him taking classes that need more of exams to pass. That is what I think.
Request By a deleted use from my Discord server....? Really? You could be more specific. I want to know his/her nickname/username/actual name. Well, i don't like any of the logos, all of them are ugly or the music is awful.
