Their stance is it’s permissible but not Fard like what a lot of modernist say, also the women education that they say it’s haram is the western established NGOs schools which even a lot of westerners are also against because of them teaching female empowerment(feminism)liberalism,lgbtq, gender intermingling!

🎯 Key Takeaways for quick navigation: 00:10 🧐 The conference aims to help Muslims navigate contemporary issues influenced by various ideologies. 14:24 🤝 Muslims shouldn't be judged for adopting certain ideologies due to a lack of Islamic political and economic education. 19:31 💡 Saint Paul adapted Christianity to Roman beliefs to make it more appealing, highlighting the influence of societal context on religion. 27:48 🔀 Changing Islam to align with Western ideologies might make it more palatable to Westerners but could dilute its core principles and purpose. 28:17 📜 Adapting religious beliefs to suit the prevailing ideology raises questions about the authenticity and relevance of those beliefs. 28:57 📚 The Essenes were influenced by Hellenic (Greek and Roman) culture even before Christianity, highlighting the historical context of cultural adaptation. 29:28 🤝 Christian political philosophy began with Emperor Theodosius and the denial of rights to non-Christians, especially those who denied the Trinity. 30:11 ⛪ Theological differences within Christianity, particularly between Protestants, led to conflicts and even violence based on differing interpretations of the Akida (belief). 32:29 🧐 The Enlightenment emerged in response to religious conflicts in Europe, emphasizing moral and political philosophy without relying on religious revelation. 39:36 🕊️ Enlightenment ideals included individualism and equality, with the belief that every person is the absolute sovereign of themselves, regardless of gender. 52:58 📜 John Locke, a prominent liberal thinker, had intolerant views towards Catholics, Muslims, and atheists, as he believed they couldn't be trusted due to their obedience to external authorities or their lack of belief. 54:49 🌍 Social liberalism emerged to address the limitations of classical liberalism, advocating for equal opportunities and welfare to counteract exploitation and inequality. 57:08 ⚖️ Materialist political philosophers consider their ideas to be just and may mistreat those who disagree, believing they support injustice. 59:57 🧱 Social liberalism attempted to balance classical liberal principles with measures like anti-trust laws to prevent excessive concentration of wealth. 01:05:29 🗣️ Social liberalism's emphasis on individual freedom and protection from societal oppression led to restrictions on free speech in the name of tolerance, creating new forms of intolerance. Conservative thinkers emphasize stability, the preservation of traditional values, and the importance of social institutions. 01:16:13 🗳️ Liberals can be inconsistent, like preserving Egyptian culture but not British culture, showcasing a dichotomy. 01:16:41 🏥 Conservatives may resist actions like vaccination and climate change measures due to concerns about government overreach and individual freedoms. 01:17:48 🇺🇸 The historical context of American politics reveals that Democrats and Republicans held different stances during the Civil War, influenced by economic factors. 01:21:01 💰 Adam Smith, often associated with capitalism, argued against mercantilism and promoted free trade for economic prosperity. 01:31:57 🌐 Liberalism's belief in individualism can lead to contradictions with the concept of God, potentially contributing to atheism. 01:39:33 🧐 Belief in absolute self-ownership can be seen as making oneself a god, but it doesn't mean you own yourself. Just because you control something doesn't mean you own it. 01:40:14 🗳️ Founding fathers of modern Western Civilization were wary of majoritarian populism and designed systems to prevent it from infringing on rights and principles. 01:42:05 📚 Justice is not merely what one wants it to be; it is determined by God's definition, not individual preferences. 01:50:46 🚫 The conservative approach to preserving tradition can lead to stagnation, hinder social progress, and weaken civilizations over time. 02:00:06 🔄 Jordan Peterson's criticism of post-modernism is ironic as he himself questions the literal interpretation of the Bible, illustrating elements of post-modern thinking. 02:02:10 📚 Abdullah Al-Andalusi discusses the value of interpretations and the role of the Bible in shaping mental schemas. 02:02:25 🌍 Conservatives may embrace post-modernism, as they distrust metanarratives, focusing on what works rather than following ideologies. 02:03:05 🕌 Islam refutes conservatism, emphasizing following what Allah has revealed rather than adhering blindly to tradition. 02:05:20 💬 Conservatives oppose tyranny and often question authority, contrasting the perception that they blindly obey rulers. 02:20:57 🔄 Being kind or accepting of others doesn't necessarily make you a liberal, socialist, or conservative Muslim; it depends on your beliefs and actions. 02:26:02 📚 Abdullah Al-Andalusi discusses the distinction between liberalism and socialism, emphasizing that having graduated taxes for the wealthy, as in liberalism, doesn't equate to socialism. 02:28:00 🏛️ Classical Islamic scholars had significant agreement on the core principles of Islamic political systems, with minor variations related to leadership qualifications. 02:31:46 🚗 The discussion highlights that Muslims can adopt practical advice and objective knowledge from individuals like Jordan Peterson or Andrew Tate, especially when it pertains to general human psychology and achievement. 02:44:37 🤔 Abdullah Al-Andalusi addresses the question of whether Muslims should speak out for the truth, even if it risks their employment, suggesting the importance of having a plan and using resources wisely. 02:49:43 🌍 The concept of conservatism is discussed in the context of preserving traditional practices and cultures in various Islamic countries. It highlights the need to define "what works" and whose definition of success is being used. 02:51:18 🗳️ In the Muslim world, advocating for change involves using various methods such as civil disobedience, verbal critique of rulers, and working to change beliefs and ideas. 02:56:42 📜 Muslims in the West should engage in calling non-Muslims to Islamic principles and criticize inconsistencies while cooperating with them on issues aligned with Islamic values. 03:05:03 🤝 Engaging in civil disobedience and working toward change is important but should be carried out within the boundaries of Islamic principles, seeking to implement the Deen comprehensively. 03:07:23 💡 Muslims should focus on changing beliefs and ideas within themselves to bring about real change, as indicated in the Quran, rather than relying solely on external actions. 03:14:22 🌍 Adapting classical Islamic guidance to modern technology and structures is a challenge, but technology can make Islamic practices more accessible and effective. 03:16:17 🌍 In modern times, communication and travel have made it easier for regions to have their own imams, addressing historical issues. 03:17:27 🌐 Muslim countries uniting under one leader and trading with each other could enhance self-sufficiency and reduce dependence on global trade systems. 03:18:23 👥 Nation states can lead to friction between different ethnic groups, as they unite people based on ethnicity and language, which was not the case in the ancient world. 03:19:33 💡 Implementing Islamic economic systems requires overcoming ignorance about the intricacies of Islamic economics and challenging false assumptions. 03:23:43 📚 The best way to learn about Islam is to read widely, engage critically with different viewpoints, and connect your knowledge of the world with the Quran. 03:40:43 🤝 The Muslim world often lacks principled leadership, leading to cynicism and power struggles, as religious labels are misused. 03:42:10 📖 Both conservatives and liberals may use Quranic verses to support their ideologies, but it's essential to define Quranic justice within the Quran itself. 03:43:23 🤔 Examining differences of opinion can reveal deeper principles, encouraging critical thinking and a better understanding of arguments. 03:50:21 🏛️ Governments and institutions, not just individuals, are crucial for maintaining order and justice in society. 03:57:55 📜 Constructing institutions and adhering to constitutions can help build and sustain Islamic civilization, emphasizing the importance of collective systems over relying on individual leaders. And stay in your houses and do not adorn yourselves like in the times of ignorance.? (Surah al-Ahzab, 33) However, if there is a need, then it will be permissible for her to emerge outside, provided the rules of Hijab are fully observed. As far as the driving of cars is concerned, it would be permissible, subject to the following conditions: a) There is a genuine need. For example, the husband can not drive due to some reason or there is an emergency, etc… This shows that at times when the husband is being chauffer-driven by his wife, it will not be permissible. b) There is no alternative. c) There is no apparent fear of life or respect. If there is just the possibility, then it would be permissible. The argument that women will have to come into contact with strangers in case of an accident, etc is not valid, as coming into contact with strangers can also occur whilst she is walking. When a woman goes to purchase something, she may no doubt have to converse with non-Mahram men. d) The rules of Hijab are fully observed. e) If she is driving without the company of any of her Mahrams, then it should only be within 48 miles. In conclusion, it is permitted for a woman to drive a car with adherence to the aforementioned conditions. However, to avoid it is always advisable; rather staying within the home (as much as possible) and not emerging outside should be practice. And Allah Knows Best Muhammad ibn Adam Darul Iftaa

@naushad5139 Studying for a long time would be a significant preventative for reaching "incorrect conclusions" (whatever that means), that's why societies in general place a premium on the learned class (experts?). Who do you think is more likely to reach "incorrect conclusions": someone who's dedicated 13+ years mastering 2 different intellectual traditions (Dr Khalid) or a someone who lacks a credible record of study (Abdullah)? If you disagree with Dr Khalid, then by all means familiarize yourself with his body of work, analyse it, and reach your own conclusions - something I'm confident Abdullah here hasn't done. What his teachers would say about his conclusions would vary depending on their personal stances. This would because In Islamic scholarship we have something called Itkhilaf (reasoned disagreement).
@zohebalikhan7404
@zohebalikhan7404 10 месяцев назад
@naushad5139 Studying for a long time has the distinct possibility of lessening infallibility of conclusions hence the need for it. I'm not suggesting that Dr.Khalid or any alim of the deen is infallible; I'm suggesting that categorizing Dr. Khalid as a liberal is a strawman at best and shows that critics haven't engaged with any of his literature. The goals of Islamic education are many and varied. They include learning how the Prophet SAS and his companions understood and practised the deen, and then applying these ideas into a given context. The problem is that understanding, historical practice, and contemporary applications are hotly contested issues hence we end up with ranges of opinion that often go well beyond "limited spectrum of opinion" - as if any of us have the authority to define said limits. One would need to (1)articulate an authentic enough interpretation of the Quran and authentic sunnah (both subject to debate amongst alims), (2) cite clear contextual quotes from Dr. Khalid, and (3) show how his opinions blatantly contradict Islamic teachings. I'm sure if it's so blatant you'd be able cite evidence for your claims.

So America is the biggest terrorist in the world right now In America it is in their constitution that they can never leave secularism and adopt state religion So your claim has been debunked that secular allows reform America has sanctioned Iran medication has dwindled in Iran that causes death of little kids If Muslims were in power they would never be allowed to sanction Iran like this to stop even medication from reaching hospitals Islam does not allow such heinous crimes against humanity Also their is no point in secularism allowing reform if no one acts upon them America has killed over million iraqis They are still continuing wars we don't see any reform for them to stop wars They keep making conflicts all over the world Reform is irrelevant if you don't practice it Anyways atheists killed more people then most religions islam is only true religion To learn about Islam read Qur'an watch shaykh uthman Daniel haqiqatjou vidoes visit Islamqa info website and most importantly ask Allah for guidance and Allah knows best

Yhh and look what liberalism, secularism and capitalism got us hey? Increase in atheism, the decline of families values, the increase of homosexuality and other degenerate behaviours, the wide usage in interest in our economic systems, being almost a slave to our jobs and wages, addicted to our phones and social media, increase in depression and suicides, increase in anti stress and anti anxiety medications, homelessness is becoming more rampant, crime is becoming more crazy, drug use is getting crazy, women *and some men* are becoming more and more promiscuous, sexual diseases are high, single motherhood and fatherlessness is rampant etc etc etc. Want me to carry on?

When will you talk about fabrications and problems in Hadith and Fiqh books? Pakistan is a failed place now because of blasphemy and apostasy laws, but people like you will never talk about it. West has problems, but so do we Muslims. Very rich of you to talk about Western short comings but at the same time advocating Islamist ideologies.

Just because some fabricated hadiths exist it is illogical to conclude that all hadiths are fabricated. Scholars of all age researched and determined the chain of narrations of every single hadiths and graded them in a justifiable manner. Just because you see a 'problematic' thing according to your OWN moral values that doesn't mean Hadith and Fiqh is distorted.

@@shmuyou313 Prophet never practiced any stoning, apostasy or blasphemy laws. These are age old fabrications inside hadith and fiqh books. Do you expect the world to respect Islam and Muslims with such barbaric laws?
