There is salvation and the forgiveness of sins in Jesus. Put your trust in Him and His death and resurrection and you will be saved and you won’t go to hell.

R. C. Sproul was taught by John Gerstner. And in a lecture by R. C. , he taught of the difference of the lies of condemnation of the devil. And the conviction of the Truth of the Holy Spirit. In short : the devil will drive you into the ground. The Holy Spirit will convict you , but under all the sorrow - there will be a little bit of sweetness. And my experience is that as we read, and study the Holy Bible and memorize verses, Ephesians 6 - " . .we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities and powers . ." It does not say you sit and wait for God to do something. In Ephesians 6 we are told to put armour on with the sword of the Spirit which is the Word of God - the Holy Bible. And that is how Jesus responded to the devil in the book of Matthew in the early chapters " . . It is written . ." and every time - three times in a row. So please as we are commanded in Ephesians 6 ". .take up the shield of faith to quench all the fiery darts of the evil one ." for we are in a war of spiritual conditions, so call Ligonier Ministries ask for a recommendation of a Church close to you, where one of their graduates is working and soak in their preaching and teaching. And the best way to retain it, is to teach it, share it - speak it (informally) to someone else. Buy a Reformation Study Bible from them and read, study, memorize.
