Suge is prime example of not understanding that the times are changing. He didn't have to be the dude with the muscle like he was in the 90's. He had the content so all he had to do was wait a little while for a bidding war. I can't believe he didn't have an advisor to tell him how the game was changing and his product would put him on top. Only a couple of years after the incident, all these companies started coming out with streaming apps. Power, Snowfall, BMF are all cool. But as good as they are could you imagine "The Death Row Chronicles" with Suge as the executive producer? All "Straight Out of Compton" would have done was make the demand for a DR movie even bigger. It could start with Suge and Reggie at Lynwood H.S living in MOB territory. His time in college. His time under Dick Griffey. Linking with Mob James and getting the crew. Him getting Dre and Snoop then Pac. It could have been 5 seasons of stories from all perspectives of Reggie Sr, Reggie Jr, The Outlawz, DPG, and many more. And with the success of the show had a merchandise boom for DR items. He also owned the masters on most of the songs and placing the music in the series with the music streaming platforms he would have seen a major increase in royalties. He would have the capitol to be on top again.
