I honestly think all the suffering that regina has gone through was a part of the sorcerers plan. I think she is the real and truest hero. Emma was only really meant to save the town from Regina's curse. But regina has saved everyone multiple times even when she had absolutely no hope for herself. Because let's face it. ..she's always getting the short end of the stick whether she's good or evil.

The Guardian of the Dagger holds the strongest light magic because it's immune from evil. It can take the darkness from the Dark One without becoming evil.

Imagine if Snow got up and went into mother bear mode to get her child back? I would have gotten a whole new respect for Snow White. no matter how much pain or epidural they put on her, nothing can beat the pain of losing your child.
I agree to an extent. I am annoyed that the writers keep having Emma stuck on NYC. They need to make her accept her new life now and move forward with the show. Lol. And yes, finally Regina has a redeeming moment! She gets to save Snow and Charming's child unlike what she did to their first Emma.
You failed Emma? No! You betrayed your brother. You were suppose to save the newborn, not an assassin of your family member. Nothing is worth more than a newborn. Some savior you are. You're not even one at all, you don't even live to that title.
