Having a bad day and came on youtube just to search for and watch that one minute when she stops the show to help that sick person out. Faithrestored. Love her.
3:22 It is the most impressive seen since I hear Regina. Stop a song to help someone of the public, it is one of the things that made me realize that this woman has a heart and appreciation for its unique public. If something was missing for all my appreciation and admiration is won, it was this. Regina you are a genius, I love you forever, forever.
You wonder why so many people had to die at that Travis Barkley concert- 100 injured, 8 dead. So your just like; moshing beside a dead body? ….how does that work….? This is the empathy we all must hold in our hearts and respect for those who are trained to breathe life back in to people…. Just lead me to them…. I’d help….. Hand over my heart, and to the Lord; I would help. Just point me in the direction…. No body should be dying at Any concerts; and this woman is Ah-mazingly talented; but is not so full of herself that she knows the importance of Life…. Of someone’s Life…. I’m a nurse and an artist; myself…. The Nurse is always working; within me, whether I like it or not…. She is always in there….and she’s always on call…. I sleep with one eye open…..
I am in love w/ the pure and richness in Regina's talent. I love the diversity in her music and in her spirit. What I live most about this song besides the piano rift and her beautiful voice rang. When I analized the lyrics to the flowers. I discovered that for me, this song is about faith and hope. I love Regina Spektor
The way she stops playing to make sure a fan has the help they need made me teary eyed the first time I watched this. She is heavenly! Always 5 stars for Regina!!!
"ok, this is how we're gonna do it" I melt when she says that. Man oh man!! just when you think that nothing unique can come around again in music, Regina shows up. I can't compare her to anyone. People try, but to me she's her own entity. I just can't express enough how much I appreciate her. You know what to expect from Coldplay or Daughtry or a lot of other artists. Regina has you on pins and needles for what she does next. I hope she keeps going for years and years.
she is fantastic, magical and unique. I run out of words to describe what goes in this world a person like Regina Spektor. would give my life for more women like her
She's so cute and amazing, the only other person I saw who stopped a concert for someone in the crowd was ed sheeran. I would kill to see her live. ugh I love her so much.
whenever I see her live, she is just so adorable. she made a joke at her concert in Portland about how she had eaten too much and "pants weren't a good choice" haha.... and forgetting the words to her own songs..... She's just so genuine - taking that time out to make sure that person in the audience was okay. *sigh* she's just so amazing.
she is the concert Moses! parting the sea of people to save a person in need. I am proud to be her fan. i wish i could just meet her one time though. i would DIE!!!
I was at this amazing show in Chicago that year... 😭😊 to this day I talk about seeing her, and crying for the first time in a crowd at a show from a artist. This is one of the most powerful artist I ever saw live! Love you Regina !
Please, take a moment to admire Regina, stopping the song in the precise moment where it gets a sudden faster and more exciting rythim because she sees somebody sick in the middle of a huge crowd and, after It's all solved and ok, getting back to that exact same part of the song, nearly like nothing happened except for a cute little smile that makes everything even better. She is wonderful!
Being good isn't extraordinary. But it's darn *REFRESHING*, man. i *LOVE* YOU, REGINA I. SPEKTOR. Saw the *Spektris* *Goddess* at the Palace Theatre in Lou. Ky in November '09, and it was *AWESOME*. *MUCH LOVE* to THE *coolest* *Miss Lady*, this side of the flippity-floppety Universe. ;) If she were a flower, to me, she'd be a breed like no other-and infinitely more beautiful than any flower we *mere humans* have ever seen, *so far*.....
She tries to help herself!!! She asks people to make a road and wave their hands and do something! And then she tells people to look after themselves and she just wants them to be good and have fun. But she doesnt spoil the spoil the whole thing just because someone passed out. she finishes the song and does a really super awesome show! I'm amazed. Would anyone else do such thing? For a complete stranger? Regina is the least selfish, most kind-hearted person on Earth.
oh my god, that was the sweetest thing anyone has ever done. we should all stop our important moments to help someone else. that was just...wow. seriously. wow.
wow never had i seen an artist who stops in the middle of a performance to pay attention to a MERE one sick person in a HUGE crowd... how sweet of her! =D
She came to the USA from Moscow when she was 9 in 1980 because at the time it was very difficult for Jews in Russia. The Music in this song is very Russian inspired as is a lot of her music. She could have been a concert pianist but lucky us she decided to do her own thing. She kind of teaches by example and imho is a very wise & kind lady. How many other artists stop mid-song at a festival to check someome is ok. Unconditional LOVE. She Cares & will be cared for. As u think that u become. luv
She is amazing! Stopping mid-song like that (and picking it up again like she did) shows what a wonderful person she is. I love her, her songs and her adorable quirkiness. I can't believe I went from not knowing her to be being totally obsessed with her in a span of two days....
Man, I just want to hug and squeeze her forever. She has brought so much joy to my sad sorry life. I wonder if she realizes the effect she has on some peoples lives.
That was the best front row seat I've had...and best performance at Lolla this year. She was so sweet and funny. What was more amazing is that when she was singing, during a pause, you could hear a pen drop. She commanded that stage...
My first real concert or venue if you want to say i saw Regina live and i passed out as soon as she walked on stage i was star struck! She has such a sweet genuine personality and has an amazing voice and i love how she played on piano(after i came too ofc i was in the back, but it was a smol club in RVA
"Where the hell is everybody?....Alright, this is how we're gonna do it, make a road..." I think I am officialy obsessed with Regina Spektor because she is AWESOME! She cares about people and it's genuine. You don't usually get that often....
I saw her for the first time last week, and I almost cried at songs that don't even normally move me (like on the cd). There's just something about her live performance that is SO passionate and moving!
