TBH Regine has done sooooo much better, her tone just does not match the songs of Mariah so for me she does not sound good. Though Regine did good at the lower parts here. But the high notes.... umm it's eh. I might just not like her tone lol, I think the execution was fine.

This was added the butterfly album because the label wanted another ballad for the album. This was when Mariah was starting to rebel against her label.

I'm always surprised by how MGN don't know a lot of these great songs yet their commentaries and inputs are always on point! I mean they seem to be very musically inclined and technically knowledgeable when it comes to music but HOW COME they are not familiar with these beautiful and FAMOUS songs? I respect mariah carey... but I will give this performance to regine the voice is so soft , and the emotions are great plus it was a live performance no H.d at that time no auto tune just pure talent... If mariah and regine will throw thie fame and go back as they started and join in a singing competation regine is the sure winner.
