Regine is a gift to the Philippine Music Industry. She probably one of a few artists in the Philippines who can sustain a very ridiculous high notes with elegance. You have to check out her biography and the International artists she had had worked with. She raised the bar and most singers/artists in the Philippines look up to her.

Oh my god, she is the queen of the queens, indeed. Period.

i was lucky to watch her live in a mall concert...and shes the only singer that gave me goosebumps...her voice is truly unique and amazing and the emotions just wow

For someone who has been listening to her for so long... Its not her technical singing ability that has blown me away in this video... Thats given... She's the world's best belter... What surprised me is the way she conveyed the message of the song... It was so haunting... She has gotten me somewhere... It was not just a performance... If was an experience...

Ayyyayyaaayy! She fills up the gaps. The longing for great singing live. Most if not all of the more famous singers we know CHEAT when live w/ all sorts of excuses like the WEATHER.

A trivia is that Regine actually studied French although it was not formal. That was during her working with French Broadway Legend Michel Legrand who visited in the Philippines and did a concert with her. Legrand is an EMMY GRAMMY and ACADEMY awardee who has worked with the worlds greatest vocalists like Barbra Streisand, Michael Jackson, Aretha Franklin, Frank Sinatra, Neil Diamond and the list goes on. Legrand praised Regine in the same way he did to Barbra. They are his 2 favorite singers of all time.

Screaming/emotion has always been the only line of offense by non-regine fans or haters because it's subjective :))) It's just kind of funny because that brand of "screaming" and the emotion made Regine the best selling artist of all time in PH and the most imitated vocal performer which gave birth to your fave artists and has been an inspiration to many. If there is one singer in Philippines who really MADE AN IMPACT IN THE MUSIC INDUSTRY AND CULTURE OF SINGING in the Country, it is Regine. Why would other accomplished singers LITERALLY bow or kiss her hand to show respect to her on stage if she's just a screamer and sings with no emotions? :)))) Let me quote the country's top composer/musican Maestro Ryan Cayabyab, "Regine is on top. No other singer can argue that fact. No other singer can argue that fact." :))) Others can only argue to hell how she's just screaming notes and sings with no emotion. But at the end of the day, most Filipinos would still prefer playing her songs

there is a huge difference between her concert performance compare to a tv (weekly variety show) what you reacted last time was a weekly show. we're used to see her perform relaxed that way. but when it come to concert (like this one) she turns into something else - all out performance :)

I truly love genuine and objective reactions coming from credible musicians and experts like you guys.. I hope you could find time to react to her spectacular performance in her video "Piece of Sky (Best Version Ever) - Regine Velasquez." Another of her unforgettable concert performance is her cover of Sammy Davis's "What Kind of Fool Am I" with video title "The Best Live Singer in the World! to start with, my apology to the lady for the feedbacks I made on her comment with the previous video of regine. I was amongst those who reacted negatively on her reaction. If I ever hurt your feelings, my apologies to you. I don't mean to say such things to you. I pretty know that behind every character or attributes in us, there are also reasons behind it and when we are unawarely reacting to what is not acceptable in general, sometimes it really have to take someone unpretentious and outspoken to let that person know what is the real truth about their actions. I'm not a subscriber and I'm no regine fan as well. I just posted a statement because I just felt the need to do one. I know you both are doing these reactions to entertain people and I know you both know that it's really hard to please everyone and I commend you both for doing these videos but I just want to say that I feel for you mam especially when others starts to throw some derogatory comments that are way much harsher than the feedbacks I relayed. very very nice save..:-) believe me, I have friends who have been Regine Velasquez fans since time immemorial...when it comes to her, it was always "tread very carefully, criticize at your own risk" Although what's hard to translate is how she captured the hearts and imaginations of so many and still does after all this time. It's one thing to be a great singer or artist, and another thing own the heart of a nation.I don't understand it fully myself, but that's how it is.
