RegioGreenTex Stories: Trafi Creatività Tessile 

RegioGreenTex introduces RGT Stories - a series of interviews to discover the heart and souls of RegioGreenTex SMEs.
For our first episode, we met with Fabio Giusti, Trafi’s owner and Managing Director, in Prato to discuss textile recycling, problem-solving while half asleep and half awake, and what a creative future may foresee.
Trafi is one of the 5 Italian partners of RegioGreenTex. Based in Prato, Trafi started its activity in 1982 specializing in ''space dyeing'' yarns on cones; since then Trafi's techniques have developed in many new ways and RegioGreenTex is helping Trafi find new sustainable solutions to textile recycling. In the framework of RegioGreenTex, Trafi is working on creating a new type of fabric from yarns, filaments and other fabrics joined together by a needle punching technique.
