Crash Bandicoot has had many changes throughout the years, but his first outing definitely had the most across all different regions! Socials - Twitter: / fogfrogau
I think this is my favorite video of yours yet. I can't imagine how much time it took to research all the possible differences. Very well put together! Looking forward to more of this series. Keep up the amazing content, my friend 💚
Having studied Japanese at uni, this is so interesting. It could definitely be interesting to see regional differences between the Zelda games or other Japan native games 🤔
Idea, if you have the Time, could you do this but for the other games? (Future ones like Crash 2, Crash 3, and maybe Crash Wrath of Cortex, Twinsanity and 4 if you like this Series) I’d suggest starting with Crash 2 of course I did hear Crash 2 had interesting stuff, like the Title Screen being more different from the US, the Game’s Title itself having a different Translation, with it’s own Music, and even a hidden Video that was some Japanese Crash Song with Lyrics! We do also sorta get introduced to a Japanese Crash Theme Song that would later be present in Games and Japanese Commercials! (To this Day too, that Japanese Crash Song was present on a Japan Crash 4, It’s about Time Ad)
Initially, I didn't really intend to make a "sequel" video to my region lock series. It was kind of just an idea that was "throw it at the wall and see if it sticks". But it's actually turned out be one of my most popular videos on the channel, with a lot of people asking for a follow-up. I think I definitely will be able to deliver on what everyone wants, at least up to the "N. Sane" trilogy entry and beyond, since NTSC-J and EUR copies of games are a lot cheaper and easier to source for the older titles, but once I'd reach the Xbox One I'd definitely be forced to buy a NTSC-J and EUR region Xbox One, which could hurt the pockets a little bit since I'm not monetised on RU-vid just yet Over time, I will release Region Lock episode 2. Watch this space :)
