hes not going to counter regis. if anything regis would be the one who should counter him. expect haney to land first for the majority of the fight. he's much faster. regis needs to counter or fight/brawl on the inside so devin can't pick him apart.

Update after watching the fight, first two rounds Haney landed 2 uppercuts as Regis was leaning towards the right hand. The jab worked the whole night, what a dominating fight.

@@bekeneel yall have to use common sense, Haney is naturally bigger. Moving up to 140 is more close to his walking around weight. 140 is easier to maintain which is why he looks bigger and more hydrated. He was struggling to make 135. Now that he’s bigger he while have more power

Devin may out box him and win a decision, but there is no way that Drvin Haney KOs Regis. That is not how he fights. He does not ever even attempt the knock out. Look at the 2 fights against Kambosos, Devon pretty much dominated both fights and never once hurt Kambosos, and that is with Devin being much larger than Kambosos, Regis is a bigger guy and would be even more difficult to KO. Devin does not knock people out. You can't even name the last guy he knocked out without looking it up. It was 7 fights and over 3 years ago. Since he stepped up in competition, he is dominating his opponents mostly, but not hurting them in any way. The betting line has Regis, who is the underdog, with a better betting line for a KO than Devin.

Haney is in no way going to ko Regis. Haney is going to keep it at a distance, jab and grab and aim for Prograis chest as much as possible. Expect Haney on a bicycle for this.
