Regrading and seeding a residential yard 

Thanks! I recently got a Harley rake for the skid steer and it is a must have for finish grading a yard. It does excellent and preps the ground for seed. I’ll have to do a video on it

@@JustinBiddix yes please do, love the rake, box blades, land levelers anything that can make the ground perfect after grading! It is instant gratification! I will like and share that content as well!

Thanks! I wanted to aerate because the soil packed down hard. It would have been better to run a Harley rake over it.

I have learned if you do something like this it is best to go ahead and use a harley rake on the skid steer to assist in grading and properly prepping the dirt to accept seed.

Killing the grass would yield higher quality results. But if you get a thick enough layer of dirt on top say probably at least 3 inches you should be fine without killing the grass

It’s a aereator. The better equipment to use is a Harley rake. But I didn’t have one at the time

@@JustinBiddix thanks. Gonna try my hand at a full lawn renovation. Uneven, humps, dips, holes, very little grass, a whole lot of blackberries and weeds. Going to spray, scrape and dispose of blackberry patches, rough grade, then probably spread topsoil. Then sod. Maybe I won't need a harley rake or aerator since I'm going all new topsoil.

I did not get any final result pics. If I were to do this again, I would rent a harley rake for the skid steer. It would have been faster and easier and higher quality. Just my hindsight thoughts...
